Metro v. FC Dumbass...er Dallas Match Viewing- NYC & Jersey

Match viewing for Metrostars v. FC Dallas, Sat., Sept 25th, 8:30PM

The Metro take on the re-named but still crap fourth place Dallas JR Ewings this Saturday night. After losing a 1-0 home game to the Burn in August, Metro hit the road for the second time in two weeks, looking for some payback. With a win Metro draw closer to clinching the statistically inevitable post season appearance.

The game is live on MSG at 8:30PM, and we'll be watching from Nathan Hale's Bar and Grill in NYC.

Come down, hang out, down a few beers and watch Metro hogtie the Jumpin' Jolleys of the Lone Star State. There will be beer specials and good food, so please bring a friend and have a great time.

Nathan Hale's is conveniently located near the 1/2/3/4/5/6/9/A/C/E/R/W and Path trains in downtown Manhattan. (Chambers St./Park Place/City Hall stops).

If you can't make it to the City, there's a match viewing in New Jersey...

Join a couple of the Metro faithful in Summit, NJ for a match viewing.

So come on out! Summit is convenient by train (Gladstone, Dover, & even Midtown Direct from NYC), but most of us will come by car. Mapquest the address above or call the restaurant for directions.

Just a note on Winberries. I won't be there to make sure the bartenders put the game on, and since it's a Yankees/Red Sox we might only have the game on one TV. If you do go, just kindly ask the bartender's if they can put the game on, I'm sure you'll have no problem.

I'll be sure to set something more substantial up for our next away game vs. DC United. Since it's a Sunday afternoon game, we should have the whole bar to ourselves. And since Hale's will be closed, it'll be one of the few places to gather for the game if you're not making the trip down to DC.

    Details to come.
