Before today they claimed to be the best in the region since they were the champs, nothing else mattered not even fifa rankings or world cup places, but now since they've got nothing they're magically best or second best although they're clearly #4. Talk about moving the goalpost.

It's better than having them quote us in our own forums and creating BS anarchy, and if done right you never have to read this stuff. I follow this thread because sometimes there is pretty funny stuff, and the USMNT really does have one of the more ridiculous fan bases around, god bless 'em.

2nd if you take all the playres that are naturalized citizens from the u.s. you guys have a poor team. Take all the hispanic players out and you have like 3 players.

As much as I like to see any CONCACAF team do well in the broader international tournaments, being the best in the confederation isn't exactly worth bragging about. I mean, the USMNT are certainly not world beaters and neither are Mexico.

I say this as somebody whose own country grossly underwhelms in the sport for its history and resources.

That is true, but we only bring it up when provoked by nadfans. We didn't start this rivalry nor have any interest in this rivalry. The rivalry was with the Ticos, but then the nads squirmed their way in. So any announcement to them that we're CONCACAF's King is to shut them up, not because we feel it is a title of ultimate prestige.

Orlando city and all the other mls teams should have team colored jorts to identify their ultras/firms.
