    Source?

If that's true, they already started their league play and have Europa group play approaching with only 2 other 22 y.o. strikers on the team. Possibly good minutes for him especially with an extremely young team up front for them.

Based on UEFA rankings, they're right behind Greece and Turkey. 5 out of the 10 Super league teams play European comps and 1 gets relegated, so lots to play for just in the league. However, Basel is the clear dominant force with Grasshopper and Young Boys tending to get the top 3. 4-8 (where Sion exists) seems fairly competitive though.

Don't know much about the league or the club. Will Tall get a good amount of PT here?

I think this is going to be a great move for Tall. He impressed the hell out of me in his short, injured plagued U-20 WC. Just poking around a bit it appears Sion is pretty thin in the striker department. However, on paper, I can determine that their three main options are Ghanaian Ebernezer Assifau (great name, BTW!!) , Senegalese national teamer, Moussa Konate, and Swiss Daniel Follier, all under 22 yrs. old. It looks like Assifau bagged 7 goals in 24 appearances after signing from the Ghanaian Permier League, Kouate bagged 16 in 27 games, and Follonier 6 in 19 matches. It appears there will be some stiff competition for Tall. Given the talent he briefly displayed this summer, I have no doubt Tall can earn significant minutes.

That's a hard question for even a coach to answer.

I don't see a reason why Maki cant just win over a starting role on that squad.

Already on it in the Cheese and Chocolate thread.

Sion is a very beautiful city in Switzerland. It is in the Rhone River valley surrounded by the Alps. Also, Sion could challenge for a CL spot this year. They won the Swiss Cup and will be in the EL.

    Good move for him.

How about this "Starting to Peak, Maki in Sion"
    Sion (French) = Zion (English)
