We're undefeated in our last 5 matches now and hold 4th place in the overall standings. Ottawa are just two points behind us. After this weekend's performance, I expect more of the same from our attack. I hope the coaches got after Norales for losing his man on the goal we gave up. Has there been any update on Ring's injury? This should also be Dane Richards' debut.

The Furries don't score much. When their scoreless streak was intact, I was dubious about our attack's ability to overcome their strong defense, but the end of the streak this past weekend give s me some hope, as do the beautiful finishes last Saturday by Woj and Norales. If Mares could only finish, we'd really be something.

So, we thinking Richards starts or no?

I'd expect him to make a substitute appearance in the second half. He's only just got here and hasn't had much time to practice with the team.

After Saturday's results, a win in this match would put us in second place for the fall season. We would be 1 point out of first with a game in hand.

Nicht has been very bad this game. Very slow feet and not even attempting to make some saves. We're going to get beat here.

Defense had been terrible in every respect.

Anyone know why Woj started at midfield?

Nope and I didn't like it. Rugg is terrible, Woj/Brown needs to be the striker duo.

Woj is worse than Rugg. Woj had two decent games in a row, other than that he has been absolutely terrible.

I look at Rugg see he has the look and physical traits to be a dangerous forward, yet he is a complete empty body on the pitch. Just brings nothing.

Shame on me for continuing to fall for it every time I watch him.

Well, that was brutal. The path to
Improvement was never going to be straight up, I suppose, but ugh. The injuries in defensive midfield had a cascading effect, with too many players out of position.
