Assistant coach Tim Regan will take over with Kleberson as an assistant until, hoprfully, he can play. This change was necessary as we had regressed all season long basically saved by two miracles shots to keep us reasonably close the rest of the league.
let's see if this makes a difference. do we really think regan can do better with this roster? probably can't do any worse...
It had to happen, we were in last place... This isn't the worst roster in the league, no excuse for Sommer to have us there.
This was a long time e coming, though I'm surprised it happened before the end of the spring season. As an inaugural coach, Sommer definitely looked the part, but it's been apparent for awhile that he lacked the coaching chops to compete at this level.

So how are people feeling now about the coaching change in Indy? It seems that he's done a good job in the short term.
I'm very happy with the change. There has been a marked change of play since Regan took over. The soccer is much more positive and pass oriented. The results have spoke heavily in favor of the change too.
so far so good. they look like they have been given a plan in the attack instead of just "hoof it up there". there are still brain farts in the back, but i guess even the best teams have that at times.
To be fair they have only given up 3 goals in the 5 matches under Regan, 3 in 6 if you count the friendly with Moreila. I'll would take our back probably over any in NASL. Norales and Miller cb combo for sure.
I like it a lot. The team has played noticeable better under Regan and our attack is no longer kick the ball 40 yards down field and see what happens as others have noted. We're actually capable of building some attacks. Good test this week though as that Ottawa defense is pretty good.
