"done deal" according to DiMarzio http://gianlucadimarzio.com/calciom...ttura-darrivo-ecco-i-dettagli-delloperazione/
Let's compare the style and quality of our transfer negotiations anno 2011 under Nerlinger with that of Reschke in 2015...Looking back I can hardly believe how amateurish we acted on the transfer market.
It's particularly impressive because no one thought of Diego Costa or Vidal until 1 or 2 days before the transfer. No drawn out sagas, no leaks to Bild. Just act professional, be efficient, and get the deal done. I don't think we're done yet, as we probably still need a winger and/or Lewy back-up, but I have a feeling it gets done the same way and out of the blue.
We were so timid it seems, we set our standard at the BL hyped players or those on the NT... But since then we've gotten who ever we needed from every corner of the globe.
You're close. The deal was initially for Rafinha Alcantara and Messi but Barca indicated that they were 1 whole Brazilian short what with the departures of both half Brazilian Alcantara bros, so Recshke sent them our Rafinha to preserve the FCB connection and complete the Brazilian electron orbital that Barca so requires. Total price came to about 20 million, for Barca. Reschke was gone before Braida realized an hour later that he actually paid us to offload Messi.
I'll just drop off this piece of information here and everybody can make conclusions on their own. According to BILD Bastian Schweinsteiger is going to make € 14M per year at Manchester United with an additional one million Euro championship bonus... I imagine Rummenigge, Sammer and Pep didn't need to push him out of the door very hard...
thats well over the 140k pounds/week previously reported (unless difference related to taxes, don't know anything about English income taxation)
Considering Vidal is going to get 6.5 at max I think it is a no brainer. Vidal is 3 years younger and gets paid 7.5 less than what Schweiny gets at United. Win, win?
Vidal is going to get at least €9M per year, he earned more than 6.5M at Juve already and is certainly not going to leave money on the table to join Bayern.
HOME-RUN signing When I think Top Wingers in the World, he is on the Top 5 list. To replace Ribery with this established talent is impressive.
The only wide position he could possibly play is the RWB if we play the 3-4-3, but he's a box-to-box midfielder and at that one of the best in the world.
