Well there's still an issue with the Barça home games and the El Clasico. Definitely can see someone picking those up
"U.S. bids to carry EPL games have to be submitted by Aug. 6, and all the usual suspects are planning to be involved -- incumbent NBC, ESPN and Fox, according to multiple sources. The new wrinkle in this bidding process is that the EPL has told the networks that it will accept both three-year and six-year bids, a significant change for a league that previously has signed three-year media deals. A source said each network was likely to submit two bids -- one for three years, one for six -- and the EPL only would accept the six-year bid if it “blows them out of the water.” Sources expect the EPL to make a decision soon after receiving the bids, though it is possible that the league could extend the bidding process to two or even three rounds" More: http://www.sportsbusinessdaily.com/Daily/Issues/2015/07/31/Media/EPL.aspx
Smart thing to do 6 year bids. I think in a few years tv money can only go down once a la carte option becomes mainstream and people stop paying for tv networks they don't watch. I expect them to accept a six year bid.
Im sure nbc will go all out on the 6 year bid so they have soccer for the long term. The prem is the only soccer property that they have and it has scored huge ratings for them.
The very underrated Austrian streaming service laola1.tv has some interesting streaming rights for the USA. Among them: Austria top flight Ukraine top flight Belarus top flight Slovenian top flight and second tier (The Internet is indeed a wonderful thing) Portugal second tier Croatian cup Greek second tier (last year, the league hasn't started up yet this year) And if you love Volleyball and handball, they show the cev champions league and the ehf champions league. They even show the champions league in table tennis for good measure.

Did I read that article correctly??? Did it just say that NBC's winning bid for the USA rights was 1 billion dollars for 6 years???!!! EPL must now rank as the king of soccer leagues, at least financially speaking..... kaching!!!
NGSN has picked up the rights to the Coppa Italia. You can watch the 1st leg of both semifinals on demand, and the 2nd leg (March) and final will be available live.

Good question... The match will be available on GOL-TV at 8:30pm ET tonight. Watching it on BTSport/Europe right now.... SA www.soccertvblog.com
I don't think any Benfica home games are ever on Univision. They are live on BenficaTV (Portuguese) and NGSN (English/Spanish) and delayed on GolTV.
What I don't understand is why NGSN is only offering a 5-min highlight package of Benfica-Porto instead of a full match replay as they've had for every other Liga NOS match this season. Just went to watch it and was unpleasantly surprised.
