Just when you've thought you've seen just about everything...here's Ronaldo in adidas boots back in the day.
It's crazy if you think about it, only a year later he had that terrific performance in that friendly against Manchester United. He improved massively between 2002-2003.
I've seen him in Reebok boots too from his youth days. I'm sure the pics are floating around somewhere, but I can't be assed to look and post.
Robbie Keane back in the Magista Opus after starting the season in the 11Pro. Always interesting to see what the slightly older guys go for. I imagine Keane would be "nudged" into the Hypervenom if he was younger and still in Europe.
Interesting observation at some of the players at clubs back for preseason, quite a few Adidas athletes still in F50 not the X, assume they'll have to wear them in over the next few weeks?
Any official announcement on De Gea becoming an Adidas athlete? Also, what's with the blackout gloves?
I am sure adidas wants to tie him up given that no matter which squad he plays for this season, he will be muh easier to market across all platforms with club and country wearing adidas.
He could be testing a new model that's why they are backed out - same as when players test new boots. appleCORR
I'm not too fussed either way to be fair, a ball is a ball as fair as aesthetics go but it just looks a bit 'busy'. Sort of reminds me of the generic balls you get on PES.
They are the new Eternal model that is based on the 2001 model. From a distance they look very similar but these are the new ones. It remains to be seen if they can perform like the 2001 model or have anything close to the build quality.
Oh, yeah, I can tell by the soleplate now. Interesting though, Umbro seem to always play their own game.
