Man, that shot and little high five after was as casual as you can get. And goalie was like "But Du, he's the next Pele. Cut me some slack!!" Actually, if soccer allowed FK specialists, like place kickers and punters, Adu would be a great guy to have on the bench.
Is it sad that I want a live stream of level 4 Finnish reserves to waste my mornings? I'm sure as soon as I would find the live stream, freddy would be demoted to the bench, then AWOL.
Since when is anyone above playing for their teams reserve team to gain match fitness after being out for a while?? #HUMILITY #HARDWORK Lol freddy on twitter
Finally tweeted him asking if he has a condition that we should know about. Sadly, I didn't have enough characters to ask if he feared that his heart might explode.

Ok, let's say Adu is just not fit enough. But McCarthy on the bench? Is he still recovering of something? Anyone who followed that godforsaken team when he played must have noticed how solid the kid was. If he's not injured, I don't get it.
He can't play a full 90. Except he did. He can't contribute. Except he did. The team plays better without him. Except they don't. Only plausibilities: doesn't take practice seriously, and/ or they don't want to pay incentives.
Coaches avoid playing him like avoiding the plague. He is some kind of locker room cancer or abrasive with coaches. I have been hoping the trend ended in Finland, or the truth comes out in their media.
He played 90 against a relegation zone 3rd division team in a cup match. Going 90 against a team that is getting dominated can be a stroll in the park. You should consider the situation.
He was on the bench though. Why would they put a guy who's injured on the bench? He didn't play. Why wouldn't they play a guy who's not injured (hence on the bench) when he's been one of their best defenders? If he were "half-injured," then why have him in the bench at all? Does not click.
For McCarthy, his issue could ACTUALLY be match fitness since he was injured. He's good enough to come on as a sub if needed right now, but can't contribute for the full game. Or the coach hates Americans. Idk.
Hey it was because of me that the mods added McCarthy's name to the Game Day threads for KuPS. I've always cared about Stephen.
Ummm. I dunno about this specific situation, but putting a player on the bench for a game as they get back to match fitness after injury is not only not unheard of, but is actually kind of the norm. this whole situation is so twilight zone that who knows, but that particular move is not death in a tree.
Because he was injured for a month and now he's getting back to match fitness. Already played 90 minutes for KuFu in the fourth division. Clicks just fine, no conspiracy theories o'er here. No, I said he was out for a month. Was. McCarthy played in the match on May 25 against HIFK and the next time he appeared on KuPS' bench was June 22.
Not "death in a tree?" What is death in a tree? I love this phrase, though I admit that is largely because I have no idea what it means
