Those all look pretty shitty to me.

This is the best fake I've seen (sorry for the image size):

    Just a random comment...

Under Armor seems to really be doing their thing. All their footy related kits are pretty nice.

Im so glad we left Nike. I used to love the kits. Still like the boots somewhat. But their kits these days are like college soccer kits. So dry.

I like what Nike is doing with their boots. A good mix of traditional options and more current trends. Not sure if you seen the new Adidas boots coming out but they are really bad IMO. I was the biggest Adidas boot fan-boy back in the day but they're just going down hill. I've got a decent pair now from them (11pro IIIs) but after they die I'll be heading back to Nike or Puma probably.

The Chevy logo is shit, but that logo is going to fund a few massive transfers.

The ones were seeing most of the time over the last few weeks look pretty real to me. The white is the best of the lot, the is a bit too busy. I like the concept of the black but hate the orange -- red instead would look fantastic.

Found a cleaner version of the kit. At first I didn't like the white cuffs on the shirt but they dont look too bad on this one.

Can I just leave this here for a second and hope that our jerseys are one day half as cool as this.

Something like this in red and black would be sooo clean.

not really a fan of the candy cane stripes and well this one is clearly a paint job based on those jagged arm stripes alone

It's one of those logos that looks fine on a car but does not translate well to any other medium.

It's the colouring really, that's the sort of "metal effect" that I used to use as a kid for headings on school projects in Word '97. Sponsors ideally need to be White or Black depending on the colour of the kit, with at most one accent colour, the fact that that has two colours and they're both using gradients make it ugly no matter what it was on.

This is as close as I could accept to coloured on a kit sponsor.......but looking at it fck me if Chevy paid for us to have the players to make a wall like that they could smear a dog turd on the front.....Raul, Figo, Beckham, Ronaldo+ Zidane = yes please, Helguera and Guti can just take up space.

i'd prefer the stripes went all the way to the end of the sleeve? not a fan but then the whole adidas look will take some getting used to

Does anyone actually notice sponsor logos on shirts during games? I hope not.

If Chevrolet wants to hand us 750m so we can buy the players we need to get back to a CL I'd be ok with dog turd smeared on the shirt.

My only serious complaint with the red shirt is the diagonal striping, It subtracts, not adds, to an otherwise serviceable though uninspired design.

I understand what we're getting out of it. However, aesthetically speaking it's an obnoxious logo on a kit.

so far its not any better than the nike designs. nike made good designs, just not for us. i love the Netherlands (not Holland) kits both home and away and the Dutch font is by far the best out there.

with adidas we get the standard font for the CL i assume. not really a fan of it but it's better than some of the horrendous ones we've had recently. it's middle ground i guess?

I think the fact that they sell them to the fans, target kids who support the team and plaster it on everything that people pay for means that they should aim to make it more aesthetically pleasing.

A kit is in the end of it also a product, an aesthetic you are attempting to sell to fans and as such you should aspire to make it as pleasing of a product as possible, you don't owe anyone to make it attractive but surely you want to maximize the possibility of it selling well, for example I know on this board that many members loved (and went out and bought) that black and red kit nike made years back.

I jump for joy every time I manage to find Sporting's kit without the hideous block logos on the front. I'll often pay a little bit more for it if I like the kit that season.

Yeah the white isn't too shabby. The home shirt would be nicer with more black along and at the tips of the sleeve.
