Do we not have a better defender than Xavi?

You have Larin at rb and Xavi at lb? Also Alvarez in the middle with Ceren doesn't seem like the best fit for him and Bonilla has been inaffective as our lone striker

Is it the other way around and I would kinda whana see how that would go, Alvarez and Ceren if not then move Alvarez up with Santamaria ? And the striker thing, well that's true but then again we don't have any actual strikers that are effective, would love to see Peña or fito

    Santamaría

My idea of the best lineup. I'd put Rugamas but he isn't here so...

I know Santamaria had a solid game but I feel like his game clashes too much with Alas. I also just have to put 2 forwards on the front. I'm sorry but as long as I remember even with Fito its been a struggle only having one up top. We don't have the physical centre forward or the extremely fast sprinter to put one up top.

    Larin--Mendoza--Renderos--Torres or Castro
    --------------Contreras---------------

    or

I feel like this formation and line up would be more effective. Our strong point with this current national team is our midfield. It's best to use this to our advantage instead of having two forwards since it's not our strong suit. Bonilla is a counter attacking forward which he could take his chance when he steals a ball. Corea, Santamaria, and Alvarez are players who are always looking to go forward but have no defense which is why I have midfielders who have a good balance of defense and attack to make up for what's going up forward. The good part with O.Ceren he can play as a winger or CM when needed when moving around the field which Andres Flores can't do and I feel O.Ceren is better defensively too.

The problem with the match against Honduras I've notice is we played good offensively but we kept missing a lot of good plays that could have been finished. Corea, Santamaria, and Alvarez were lacking defense to make up for their mistakes to recuperate the ball. Which is why Roca shouldn't be using Alvarez and Corea half way in midfield or they will be forced to come back and try to recuperate the ball which they're not good at. They should maintain in the upper part of midfield as much as possible. Also Corea, Santamaria, and Alvarez have no problem dribble to the center to take a shot, while players like J. Alas are more out to look for the pass or cross and will stay on the outer part of midfield on the wing.

    -----------------Bonilla-------------
    Corea or Santamaria---Alavrez----
    J.Alas-------D.Ceren------O.Ceren
    Larin---Mendoza---Renderos--Castro or Torres
    ------------------Contreras-----------

Haha Bein Sports Australia will now show the game against Chile thanks to me lol.

Tweeted their official page why aren't they showing it, 2 of Australia's larger Latino groups & instead they're gonna show FA Cup moments. Well they replied & said they've had a late change & will show the game live.

Lets get ready to bunker down.. Looks like this may be the line up... too defensive imo..!! AA on the left.. the kid doesnt have a right..!! This team will have absolutely no attacking game coming from the mid..

5 at the back? That's a bit much, but it's better than 3 defenders that's for sure. Smh at Ruso and Richie both starting, what kind of example does that set for our players at home? Go abroad and you're guaranteed a spot on the national team no matter what.

Yeah no offense on that line-up AA on the left and Ruso and Menjivar starting.I would think that they would take this game seriously because Chile is a good rival.

I would hate to see them play Bunker ball and rely on counter attacks for offense.
