Without revealing the matchups for fear of spoilers, the 1st and 2nd legs of the semifinals in The Championship are set for Friday (2:45pm ET) and Saturday (7:15am ET) the next 2 weeks. For next weekend, beINSport-1 has placeholders for both Championship matches to be shown live. To their credit, they are "bumping" their beloved PSG to beINSport-ñ on Friday in order to show The Championship on their English language service. Giro D'Italia coverage is a non-factor, at least as far as the playoffs are concerned. SA www.soccertvblog.com
This is perfect BigSoccer, a poster assuming what someone will do, and then slamming them for it, only for it to be revealed that they haven't done it.
I wasnt referencing Giro D"Italia in terms of Championship scheduling issues but moreso how it will effect the other leagues (ligue 1 and serie a) that have matches being played during that long time window. Also its so Bigsoccer of you to not have decent reading comprehension or the ability to seperate a comment about the championship and a seperate thought in another paragraph (which usually implies a new train of thought) in an all encompassing Bein sport thread.
Streaming only but beIN will be showing the League-1 playoff semifinal 1st legs this Thursday (May 7th) at 2:45pm ET: - Sheffield United v Swindon Town - Chesterfield v Preston North End (2nd legs take place Sunday/Monday. Still awaiting beIN streaming schedule for those days) ----------------------------------------- Adding as I missed it first time, League-2/1st leg (streaming only): Saturday, May 9th: 2:45pm ET Plymouth Argyle v Wycombe (The second semifinal takes place on Sunday at 1:35pm ET - Stevenage v Southend United. Looks a safe bet that beIN will be presenting all League 1 and 2 playoffs on their streaming service). SA www.soccertvblog.com
Excellent! Is this the first time they've streamed the League 1/2 semis? Can't remember if they were on last season.
Don't remember if they showed the semis last season, but I recall that the broadcast of the Rotherham-Leyton Orient playoff-final at Wembley last season ended right in the middle of the penalty-kick shoot-out. Got the color bars/end of transmission thing.
Levante-Atletico Madrid will be at 6:00 A.M. on Sunday May 10. It will be live in Spanish and delayed in English at 11:30 A.M. BeIN Sports' website mistakenly says the 11:30 A.M. coverage is live.
You're right. The English channel is showing a replay of Sampdoria-Juventus at 2:30 P.M. and the Spanish channel is showing a replay of Cordoba 0:8 Barcelona at 3:00 P.M.

I tried to watch the league 1 semis but the feed kept freezing after a few minutes and I had to start it again. I got tired of it and just turned it off.
Have you guys seen this? http://gamechanger.beinsports.tv/ Instead of providing on demand video for their streaming service (which a majority people still don't have access to), they've wasted a bunch of money on this shit. Whoever thought this was a good idea needs to be fired.
From the Comcast forums in the BEIN HD thread Many Comcast areas in the west plus the Houston area are currently scheduled to add beIN Sports in HD in the next 60 days. The exact areas and channel numbers are still being finalized. As I get additional and confirmed information I will be able to post that here. Thanks for your patience. http://forums.comcast.com/t5/Channels-and-Programming/BEIN-Sport-in-HD/td-p/1786350/page/4
Did they realize April Fools was last month? You blow the vuvuzuela, annoy everyone in the sports bar and get to see the umpteeth repeat of 90in30?
I see that all french and spanish games are played simultaneously this week, and early schedule has the same game (psg and barca) on both channels. Do they really have to do that?
While the PSG match will be on both channels on Saturday, beIN is scheduling the Barca match on the English service and Real Madrid on the Spanish service for Sunday. They will also have 5 other La Liga matches streaming. Of course, this is all predicated on La Liga actually playing which will be announced tomorrow. If no La Liga, beINSport-1 will have live coverage of Roma v Udinese. SA www.soccertvblog.com
The current BeIN schedule is obviously built based on lack of info. about La Liga, but it looks like anything but a soccer channel. There are other matches in Ligue 1 that still matter. And the same is true for Serie A, yet the current schedule is filled with 90in30s, a bunch of Extras of various types, and track and field. And last week was equally as ridiculous. The complete version of the Milan-Roma match did not air until today and yet a lot of other repeats aired multiple times since the weekend. I posted a few weeks back that BeIn had an amazing schedule, loaded with Ligue 1, La Liga, and Serie A matches. I think I jinxed things by praising them because it's been crap since then.
That is exactly what they wanted from day one. They never claimed to be a soccer channel. They have always claimed to be an International Sports Network.
Yes, and if you move your mouse over it where it normally tells you the stadium and/or provides a description, it says Atletico Madrid vs. Barcelona for both channels. Will BeIN Sports show the Coppa Italia Final?
beIN will simulcast the 2 matches (involving Real and Barca) on the 2 channels. In other words, bounce back and forth. I see repeats of the Atletico v Barcelona match at 10pm and midnight on beINSport-1 & beIN-ñ, respectively. I would assume Espanyol v Real to be broadcast in full sometime on Monday (no schedule posted yet). Five additional matches will be available on the streaming site. Your best bet is to watch either of the matches via internet stream on 1 TV (or computer screen) and have either beIN channel on the other. There are plenty of free HD-quality streams available out there. Not the right place to discuss but feel free to pm me if you need additional info. SA www.soccertvblog.com
IOW, they choose the most idiotic option available to them. I remember for round 37 last year there were 3 matches of high importance. In the end it worked-out well because I remember watching 3 separate TVs with each match on it. I don't recall much bouncing back and forth. I'm pretty sure the Atleti match was on Play and the other 2 were on the 2 TV channels. Despite threatening to produce a "red-zone" sort of mess, they mainly dedicated one channel for the Madrid match and one channel for the Barca match.
I ask this like every other month, but is there any update on Fox Sports Deportes ever transmitting on DTV in HD? I have the libertadores streaming through google chromecast from my computer using their Fox Go app...but it's just not good enough for me.
