Colorado coming off of a tough mid-week game in NY. We're still short-handed, but at home I expect us to control possession. The question is whether or not we can create enough chances.
They made life difficult for NY, but NY also blew some very good chances. I also think that having to fly out to New York and then having to fly back out to LA in the space of a few days isn't going to help them.
I have inside information on Keane. He isn't expected to return for two weeks. He has a groin injury that was aggravated this week. When you look at the schedule, that's quite a bit of time. Earliest would be May 17th at Orlando. They have a turf field so that rules him out. May 22nd at home vs Houston is my guess when we'll see him. We'll get to see the Gordon, Zardes, BJIV combination again for a few weeks.

This could be a trap game, but I have a feeling it might be the opposite. We haven't really had a supremely dominant performance this season (other than against Chicago), and I think this could be it, even without Keane and Villarreal. I'm hoping to see a us score 3 or 4 goals while keeping a clean sheet.
Anyone watch their mid-week highlights? Badji looked very quick and got in good positions several times, but his finishing was terrible. I hope AJ starts alongside Omar to neutralize that threat.
Colorado's CB are Sjoberg and Burling, two big guys. It must be a good idea to start our two speedy forwards Zardes and BJ4 and make Gordon our late game sub. BJ4 Zardes Husidic Vayrynen/Garcia Juninho Ishizaki Rogers AJ Gonzalez Gargan Penedo Bench : Rowe, Leo, Dunivant, Vayrynen/Garcia, Maganto, Gordon, Buddle. A tired Colorado team at home : I expect a win, a shutout and maybe a Naganto debut.
The team should easily win this but then again nothing is easy for the boys this year. I saw the boys by a goal.
I hope this nagging injury to Keano doesn't become a thing. So who else is missing the fight to be at the Stubby tonight? GO GALAXY!
What time does the fight actually start? Galaxy account said the fight would be over by game time but that can't be right?
Tip-off for the Clippers-Spurs is a 5pm local time. I got a ticket for tonight's match (thanks TruffleShuffle) so I figure I'd watch the Clips game at El Pescador then head on over to SHC but damn, I'm gonna miss kick-off and maybe about 20 min. of the 1st half. And then there's the Pac-Man-Mayweather fight too. Dangit, why did this all have to happen tonight?
Wonder about attendance tonight. Competing with the clippers and the big fight. Add to that the general lack of buzz to our team this year and injury to our key player. There are tons of tickets available on stubhub for under $10 all over the stadium.
