Reading might be our next club in the Championship to send our youngsters out on loan with Clarke at the helm. Just hope Boro will promote so Bamford can prove himself in the pre
Agreed. It'll be a good place next season for sure. I'm torn on Bamford, as I said. I'm leaning on getting him here. I'm not sure he extends if he doesn't get the chance. I don't want a repeat of this season where we bring on a 30 something to lead the line in the most meaningful matches of the season.
Bamford starts as a striker for Boro as they play bottom half Fulham. It's a pretty big match as they have the easiest run in of all the title challengers in the Championship. Watford won today as @Miguel Alvarez pointed out in the OTT. Watford are top. Boro win today and they keep pace.
Romeu starts for Stuttgart in a massive match in their fight against relegation. They're currently up 2-0 and would move in 16th and into the relegation playoff spot. Huge for them today. Piazon starts as a LM for Frankfurt. Nice to see him get a run out.
ChelsTransferGossip @ChelsTransfer 34m34 minutes ago Patrick Bamford is a target for #Southampton as they look to bolster their attacking options next season, sources have told ESPN FC. #CFC Wouldn't mind that one bit.
The second leg of the FA Youth Cup Final against Man City has just begun. We're up 3-1 on aggregate...
Excellent write up and photos from, of all places, the Daily Mail http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...arget-Blues-seal-FA-Youth-Cup-four-years.html
Pasalic with a goal for Elche. His second of the season. It's been a really good campaign for the lad. He's got a very bright future ahead of him. Van Ginkel with another start for the ever struggling Milan. Think he went the full 90. May very well end up our midfield addition next season.
I think I would be happy with MvG + RLC coming into the midfield as long as that meant we spent the money we have available elsewhere. If they do come in and fight for a place, what happens to Ake? His contract runs to 2018, and I believe he counts as homegrown. Keep all three and sell Mikel and/or Ramires? That'd be a young midfield but not one without depth
Played a decent amount of matches at LB for Reading as we've discussed. He's a very versatile player.
This. Mikel seems to be happy on the bench and now that he has a british passport I am guessing he stays (though I wouldnt mind a swap for Morgan Schdernlein in the slightest.)
