Awesome. I had a friend that lived within walking distance of Piedmont Park and we would go down for Music Midtown in September but he move the the burbs this year. Lots of great places to go to around there and the beltway bike trail is pretty cool.
I was watching Fox28 news last night and they had a story on preparing for a world class player like Kaka. The teased the story saying there was a world class player coming to Columbus and at first I thought we had signed someone.
My son has a place at The Courtyard at Maple, just a few blocks from the Dome. Here is a pic of the view of the Dome from his gated community parking lot:
Brewhouse Café is probably my favorite place to go watch matches in Atlanta and the owner is a big Arsenal supporter and gives out free shots of something at halftime of matches.
Went there for the Spurs game a month or two ago with one of my co-workers who is a (ready for this???) Arsenal, ManU, ManCity, Chelsea fan. It was a really nice place and was surprised to see 100+ Arsenal fans in there. It was even more fun when they lost but that's another point.
So much excitement for this game that the thread has already morphed into a review of things to do while in Atlanta.

Come watch the other teams stars. Since the Crews star is more of a fading comet, I hope something clicks on Saturday for Columbus. Kamara needs to make decisions quicker with the ball at his feet and stay up top. Drifting to the midfield so he can touch the ball does nothing. Great weather and would love to see a early sell out
I don't know what to think of the ticket sales anymore since they started selling the upper levels different than they use to. There are still quite a few left on TM in the upper east side and the NW corner.
West upper deck is sold out, only reason anything's available in the south end is that 115 was opened up after they realized the Orlando supporters didn't need it. All but the worst lower deck seats are looking sparse (in terms of availability). I think it will be a pretty good crowd. Also, re: the Spring Game, am I the only one making a tripleheader of it (OSU lacrosse, OSU spring game, Crew/Orlando)?
I will be shocked if the Upper West is completely sold out. Gonna predict attendance at about 13k. Crew win 2-1
I'll go with 17,500 as announced attendance. Beautiful weather + residual crowd after OSU pointy-ball practice.
