Crc 2-1 ES. Eliminated from the WC in our own turf. Sadly, this looks like the state of our football everywhere...

El salvador finished third with a 5-2 victory over USA, sadly its not enough to qualify to the world cup. Most teams would be proud with a third place result however our strong success shows we have high expectations. time to rebuild and work out what has failed us.

So our boys won tonight 2-0, beating Venezuela in the first game of the Bolivarianos. In the same group as Paraguay Venezuela and Panama

For their second game, our boys beat Panama 10-1.
They lost the 3rd game vs Paraguay 5-4 in ET (winning 3-1 in the 3rd half)
They beat Chile 3-2 in the semis (winning 2-0 in the 3rd half and letting them come back only to score at the end)
They play Paraguay in the final. Hopefully they can win it. Also, defense has to be worked on. Letting the opposing team come back 2x in a row.

Side note, ES has NEVER beaten Paraguay in beach soccer. We've faced them 4 times (including the game in this tournament) and lost all 4. 5th time the charm?

Updates sorry for lack of it.

Well first they had a grueling match against Panama that went to a shootout which they won and got a point out of it.

Then came that sweet, sweet revenge against the Ticos with a 8-2 drubbing eliminating them from the tournament.

Now we face Jamaica in the quarters hopefully we get through with no problems.

So it is a rematch of the group stage. El Salvador vs. Panama they upset the US to get to the next round.

This will be the toughest bout given how close to the wire it was. One thing though in that the #7 Robles better not be falling easy like he did last game it lead to a goal from Panama and a great chance for them later in the game.

We lost to Panama in PKs, so no WC once again :(. How they would have done with Frank we will never know.

In all honestly congrats to Panama I would prefer losing to them who will play you straight up instead of the Ticos. They took this seriously and I hope they do well in the WC sucks that three CONCACAF teams can't qualify.

Ahh, so frustrating. Our boys played a great game, we had the first penalty shootout and they had the second. Oh well.
Feel we get unlucky draws. We face Panama while Mexico faces Guadeloupe, mexico leading 1-0 3 mimutes in. The luck of being Salvadoran :( lol

Panama are the new CONCACAF beach soccer champions. They defeat Mexico 4-2 I see this as a positive in that now they (ES) need to push themselves because they share the roost with Panama in the best teams of Central America.

Sadly the Feds will leave it disheveled instead of going in and boosting the program.

In what has become the usual situation it is INDES vs. FESFUT vs. La Selecta over lack of payments. The players have chosen to drop out until they are paid which has led to finger pointing some have even said this could be the end for the beach team who knows when this will be resolved if ever.

Eeh from what I’ve seen CR picks up against us and then goes back to being bleh, remember the last time they beat us they bent over for Mexico in the final and were beat down in every WC game they played. I say still keep an eye on Panama this happened last time as well were they handily beaten in this tourney and then in WCQ they ran the gauntlet beating ES, MEX and US.

You guys lost interest in Beach soccer too???

    Tournament started yesterday I believe.

So the game starts in 3 hours and we're probably going to lose because we're not very good at this sport.
