Is there a thread or forum that Quakes supporters favor for ticket sales/exchanges, rather than use scalpers? I'm looking for one extra ticket to the April 11 Whitecaps game for an awesome fan from Sacramento (who's a bit depressed Minnesota got MLS spot #23).
Cool! Works for me. I'm actually looking for something very specific, perhaps impossibly specific: section 127, and, if possible, row 10. Since that's where the rest of us are sitting. If that's impossible, we might take your tickets and sell one of ours.
I want to go to that game, but I have a few other things going on that evening so I need to decide what my priorities are
I had thought (hoped?) there would be an official site set up for season ticket exchange. I'd love to have the ability to set up an alert in case anything adjacent to my current seats comes available through such an exchange so that I could target a few games to bring a larger group. I'm in Section 103 and just found out from my rep that every single seat in sections 101 through 108 are sold to season ticket holders. She said that any single game non-season ticket seats are only available in sections 112-123. I'm not sure what that means for sections 109-111, and 124-134. She didn't say. I'm pretty sure that section 134 (and maybe 133?) is set aside for visiting supporters.
At the last game I exchanged contact info with the guy who had the season ticket seats next to mine... we plan to give each other first dibs on our tickets when we can't attend games.
There is an official exchange site through Ticketmaster (I know, Ticketmaster, don't shoot the messenger). I picked up tickets for the opener and they were a little less than StubHub.
Looking for someone to take over the remaining three years of a contract for two club/VIP seats in row 1, near the corner closest to the parking lots. If anyone is interested or has a lead please PM me. Thanks.
This year was the first time I used the official ST resale service they offer. I tried to sell tickets for two games and neither sold. They were Wednesday night games and one was the Bonus game friendly, so maybe that was why. I'm going to try one or two more games coming up soon and see what happens. It may have a bearing on whether or not I renew next year. We love our Quakes and we love going to the games, but we're in serious expense cutting mode right now and Quakes tix are an obvious extravagance. I'd rather not have to go back on a waiting list in a couple of years when our current crunch will have eased up. But if the tickets have little to no resell value, then . . . well . . . (If I don't renew, I'm going to tell the rep that my decision is made easier by the fact that this is a team that is not very good. We've made the playoffs twice in eight seasons and the jury is certainly out on whether that will soon be 2 for 9. And that in a league where more than half the teams make the playoffs. Epicenter fan zones and food trucks are all great and all, but some urgency toward fielding a competitive team would be greatly appreciated)
I've listed all my tickets for the rest of the season for sale on the Quakes resale site. I priced them higher for games I want to go to and lower for ones I might have to skip anyway. We'll see. I was able to sell my tickets for the next game. Next year I will be dropping to 1 seat, or maybe dropping my season tickets altogether. Did you notice the 20%+ price increases?
