Hope he remembers that when he is buying.

    Did he buy Herrera?

Is it acceptable to be a lot worse than Lyon then?

I am not sure, but Carrick is his type of player.

On a side note, I can see why Perreira hasn't been getting many opportunities. He looks more like a Mata type player than a central midfielder and LVG hadn't been too keen on 10s this season.

    Clearly talented though.

I can tell you it takes more than 8 months.

That PSG side has been together for what, 3 seasons? This Chelsea under Jose is less than a year in the making.

If Chelsea are miles away from a CL now, what were they when they won it?

He is perfect 3rd midfielder in 433 but we have ********ed around with formation too many times.

Great performance by us today. We completely bossed proceedings, and obviously the major reason for that was having Carrick back. He is a truly elegant player. I was really pleased to see Herrera partner him in midfield.

Some progression at least (at last?).

It was a great performance today. I don't think it's a coincidence that we played so well without the disinterested passenger that is Di Maria. Play this line up next weekend with the only change being Rojo for Jones.

Wow, you guys looked really good today.

I'm being serious. 8 points isnt that much, plus you have 1 game left with Chelski.

You never know, stranger things have happened

“Of course [City are in range] because Arsenal is one point behind [City] and we are two points behind. It is good for us and the fans and the media because you can write a lot of things down,” LvG's disdain for the media, lol...

He is right though. All the media talk is about how us and Liverpool are going to fight to the wire for 4th.

    Mourinho wasn't impressed either.

But when he was asked about Arsenal's chances, Mourinho shelved the idea of the Gunners putting up a fight, citing their Champions League failing against Monaco.

He sighed: "What momentum? 3-1 against Monaco? Or 3-0 against West Ham? Depends on the momentum."

There's no realistic scenario in which any team challenges Chelsea this season.

i don't mind Fellaini getting MOTM. again, given how shit he apparently to offer a goal with a good finish and an assist of some sort and not get yellow (iirc?) for his usual tackling meant he must be playing way way above his level. so well done lol.

and yes i know you can say all the flaws in his game and he was weak on the ball to me at times (eased off it easily) and he tackles from the complete wrong angle to win a ball but he won't have (m)any more games like this so let him enjoy the moment. not that i think he is good enough or want him or anything but if he does well or well enough i can't begrudge him
