Did anyone have issues today with beinconnect? Couldn't catch the 1st half of the Inter/Fiore game. Then I tried to figure out if it was a Bein thing, my tablet or what so I tried to watch Chelski/Spuds on beinconnect and no dice, either.
So I am now watching Copa Italia female Volleyball on Beinconnect. Good stuff if you like seeing cute girls in short shorts who just happen to be pretty good at their sport. (And no, I am not Oliver in disguise).
They've established that the Express Xtra runs at 6:00 ET, then they've been running the Six Nations at 7:00.
Didn't notice on the Connect schedule from this weekend, but have they been streaming Six Nations live?
I don't remember Fox having La Liga. Fox Soccer Plus showed one Ligue 1 game per week on Sunday at 3:00 P.M. Gol TV couldn't show every La Liga if they wanted to. Before BeIN, Gol TV, ESPN Deportes, and DirecTV exclusive had 3 La Liga games and 1 game per matchday wasn't on TV. Every weekend Gol TV and ESPN Deportes each got one of Barcelona or Real Madrid.
But going back not too long ago - say, 2011 - most of us would get about 6 out of the 10 matches on TV. If you had DirecTV you got all ten, IIRC. Part of the reason was due to the fact that La Liga used to schedule a bunch of matches at the same time (11:00a ET Sunday). So only 1 out of the 4/5 games in that time-slot would be shown. Now the games are more staggered.
IIRC Fox's La Liga deal back in the day was the rights to the home games of a handful of bottom-feeder teams.....hard to believe that for a brief period around the turn of the century FSW/FSC had rights to show football from England/Spain/Germany/Italy/France/Holland/Argentina/Brazil..........and MLS
http://forums.bigsoccer.com/threads/spain-la-liga-schedule-tv-info-march-2012.1907382/ In March 2012, the 10 La Liga games were played at 8 times (fewer times if it was a weekday matchday). Like I said about how many games each channel had, here's the TV schedule from Saturday March 3 through Monday March 5: March 3: 5 games Gol TV had games at 12:00 P.M., 2:00 P.M., and 4:00 P.M. (including Barcelona and Atletico Madrid) DirecTV had two games at 12:00 P.M. March 4: 4 games The 6:00 A.M. game wasn't on TV ESPN Deportes had games at 10:00 A.M., 12:00 P.M., and 3:30 P.M. (including Real Madrid) March 5: 1 game 3:00 P.M. on DirecTV
I don't watch enough La Liga to know if things are better or worse, but I can say that it is few and far between when I need to seek out alternative viewing options for a Valencia match. On the other hand, WTF Lazio-Napoli is shown in edited for to fit the whole thing in 90 minutes, including commercials. Seriously, they have to chop 12-15 minutes from this game so they can squeeze in one more 90in30 of Barca or Real Madrid or the 3rd airing of Express Extra? I wish the Middle East crew would come in and fire these idiots and then follow what they do on BeIN in other parts of the world. I assume they edit matches at some point but never during a first (or only) run. It's just embarrassing when there is obviously people who know something about the sport running a network and thinking that editing is the way to go. I know Fox Deportes does this as well, which is also ridiculous. Show the matches and put some on-screen ads to make up for the lost commercial income. Plus on-screen ads are protected from DVR fast-forwarding.
GREAT NEWS for xfinity customers. While I don't know if maybe the representative was BSing or not here is a post from the comcast forum about programming This is the email I got from a Comcast representative. Good afternoon, Thank you for getting back to me so quickly, Your feedback regarding programming availability in high definition was forwarded to our Marketing group. I was advised that BeIn Sports has agreed as part of their licensing renewal process will be offered in both an SD and HD version. The exact dates of negotiations and implantation is not something that we are able to share. I would recommend that you watch your billing statement for programming changes. Typically you will be notified 30 days in advance and the relevant channel numbers will also be provided. Regards, Cheryl Jacqueson
I think that is pure BS. They could have had it in HD from day one but chose not to. And now bein agreed to give them the signal in HD? So, they are saying it was bein's fault that it hadn't been oferred in HD for the past three years. Comcast is just full of BS. I won't miss them when I cut the cord.
BEIN ñ has been down on connect all morning. Good thing I have Dish anywhere with sling so I could watch it on that app. Kind of odd though. All the other BEIN Channels are working on both my phone and tablet.
The Serie A show? How about why is Bein so incompetent? Theyre not showing a big potential decider between marseille and lyon until Monday as a 90 in 30. F%^k you Bein. I hope they fire everyone in Miami except Kay murray and Brittany Arnold. Everyone else shitcan
Is anyone able to view BEIN ñ on connect? Or is it just me that is having problems with it on Android?
Here is the issue I'm having so let me know if any of you guys can relate: I have the Inter game on one tablet so on my other tablet, with the same account, I'm trying to watch Marseille/Lyon. I get a message (on the Marseille game) that says something like "this video cannot be played on this device". Is this due to my using the account twice or is this strictly bein being...crappy?
On the commercial hypong up el clasico, they pronounce it CLEE-si-co. Where is the "ee" sound coming from?
My issue still has not been resolved. BEIN ñ is not working on my phone nor my tablet. But it does work on my laptop. Very, very odd.
