Couple of things: 1) bein does have an app but it has nothing to do with its streaming service. The app just offers news, articles, scores, etc. 2) When I have used beinconnect on my laptop, I've done it with Chrome and have barely ever had any issues. On my tablet, I usually use FlashFox. Try either of those and see how you make out. Personally, I am not too fond of IE but I wouldn't be able to say for sure that that is the issue here.
I have not used BeIN Connect at all, but I can say based on experiences with other Web-based platforms for work-related streaming and media-production-based Web sites that every one of these sites warns against using IE.
I have problems with BeIN connect with safari as well (both mobile and desktop). I have to log in like 5 times. I don't have problems with any other site.
Are there providers who only offer 1 of the 2 Bein channels or have plans that do that? Comcast gives you both of them so it's iritating to have the same game on both (not barca or real) when there are other games.
Yeah, I've had that be the case for both providers that I've been on in the past 12 months(RCN and TWC) where the Spanish version is not offered on the normal sports package.
That's the case with Fios. I get BeIN in English only. Among Spanish channels with soccer, I get ESPN Deportes, Fox Deportes, and Univision Deportes without a Spanish package. I don't get BeIN Spanish or Gol TV in either language. Sampdoria-Genoa, which was supposed to be played Saturday February 21 and was postponed due to rain, will be played tomorrow at 12:30 P.M. Programming note: @sampdoria x @GenoaCFC, #DerbyDellaLanterna airs live, Tue. 12:30et on @beINSPORTSUSA & @ESbeINSPORTS. See you then!— Dre Cordero (@DreCordero) February 23, 2015
Nice job by BeIn on Saturday. When the Genoa derby was postponed they switched to the live Atletico match rather than showing some taped nonsense. But today they are NOT showing the Genoa derby! At least not according to my DTV schedule. I know it will be on their dodgy streaming site, but seems odd not to just put it on the English channel rather than showing the old Juventus match.

Kind of a shame that midweek non-televised Championship fixtures aren't beamed over. Forest-Bournemouth would be a decent match for beIN today.
Jason Davis mentioned on Soccer Morning that beIN is getting the Bundesliga next season. Is this an actual thing??
Messi was offside because he was ahead of the ball, not because the ball traveled forward. If a player comes back from an offside position to receive the ball, he is offside regardless of whether the ball traveled forward or not. But of course, you wouldn't expect Ray Hudson to know any better. The guy is an insufferable assclown idiot. Soccer is mainstream enough now and La Liga deserves better coverage than this rubbish in the US.
I don't think the Sheikh wants to let La Liga go. Would be great if NBC or ESPN even FOX could get it and it would be better and have 3 times better viewership than BEIN
How in the world would La Liga be better on NBC, ESPN or Fox??? Every La Liga match is available on beINSport/espanyol. Do you honestly think any of the other networks would show all the games? ESPN would have the "big 3" on ESPN Deportes with perhaps El Clasico on the English language service. That would be it for English language coverage (likely including espn3). NBC would not come close to dedicating time to la Liga as they do the Premiership. Fox...well, FOX are Fox. You would have to commit $10 per month for FoxSoccer2Go to get your fill of La Liga. As for viewership, yes - the other networks have better distribution but the numbers for the last El Clasico showed that viewers do flock to even beIN for what they want to see. Commentating, production, etc we can have an earnest debate about beIN's quality but I for one will swallow the crap surrounding the matches for the sheer number of games. I've said it before and I'll say it again: there is plenty not to like about beINSport but without them some very important leagues become obscure in the US. These leagues have bounced from network to network and shown that they cannot compete with CL or Premier League when it comes to the bottom line: number of eyeballs. They are "filler" at best on any major network. beIN have put la Liga front and center. Putting the league on any major US network would be a major step backwards for the fans! LOL. I just ran across this article right after my above post. How appropriate. Hell, even the argument for number of viewers holds less and less water..... beIN SPORTS delivered the No. 1 sports telecast of the day for 22 February for Spanish language cable networks in the US with its broadcast of the Elche vs. Real Madrid match. According to Nielsen Media Research, the match scored an average of 351,000 total viewers on beIN SPORTS en Español. Among Hispanic viewers, the Elche vs. RealMadrid match out delivered all Liga MX matches on Univison Deportes Network, including the top two matches of the day, Leones Negros vs. Tijuana and UNAM vs. America, in addition to all sports telecasts that aired on ESPN Deportes and Fox Deportes that day. For the week of 16 February, beIN SPORTS en Español aired four out of the top 20 telecasts on Spanish cable sports networks, with the Elche vs. Real Madrid match ranking as the No. 3 telecast. For the month of February to date, beIN SPORTS en Español has aired eight of the top 20 telecasts — the highest ranking game airing on between Athletico and Barcelona on 8 Feb. delivering an average of 433,000 total viewers for the match. That's 506,000 viewers for both networks combined!! Elche!! Friggin' Elche match!!!
People just like to rag on Hudson but I find him entertaining and filled with passion. Other color commentators can be very informative but sound like they are watching grass grow or pain dry. I just can't handle that sort of commentary.
The Qatari's could have done us a solid and flew Keys and Gray to London to call this one for the beIN universe. Scheon and Harkes - oof.
It's all relative, isn't it? As I'll only really want to watch La Liga if it's Barca/Real/Atletico, I'd prefer the rights winners to be a network that wouldn't consider Phil Schoen as their number one commentator to be acceptable.
I missed that also, and BeIN can't spell his name. On the screen they called him John Harks. Edit: Did I miss it or did BeIN not give the lineups?
People's memories must be short around here if they don't remember how small of a fudge Fox ever gave about Ligue 1 or La Liga. Relatively speaking Gol tv used La Liga as their flagship product and never came close to airing all 10 games every match day. I'm so much more a content vs a presentation guy, but evidently a lot of people are the opposite. Bein isn't perfect by any means, but them coming into the tv market over here has increased the amount of games I can watch a great deal.
I know it is probably difficult for ray hudson to get excited about Chelsea, but where did they come up with Harkes? They mispelled his name in the beginning when I tuned in, so I thought this could be some other John Harkes. Why would a guy who was horrible calling DC United games end up on Bein? When I heard him, I was shocked. Ray Hudson, Ian Joy, anyone but him.
