Columbus Crew SC @ColumbusCrewSC 53m53 minutes ago #CrewSC Season Ticket Members will have priority access to the 2015 Jersey Reveal Party. Stay tuned.
It will be interesting to see if they officially unveil the road jersey or just "unveil" it by putting it up on the MLSGear website or by wearing it the first road game there's a color conflict.
I would imagine it will be unveiled with the home jersey. If you preorder a new jersey (with free customization) it says you get a choice of home or away. It's hard to make a choice if they don't unveil both at the same time, especially if the store is shipping them concurrently to be delivered shortly after MLS jersey week.
I waste countless hours playing around designing kits on Mi Adidas team site. Today mocked up some Crew stuff, because I'm bored waiting for new official release. These are ones I would never personally choose, but Adidas site has many more options now than in past so I messed around with a few of the graphics.
I dig the shorts + the second top, if its without the white pattern. C'mon, computer people. I need more posts like this to pass the time.

What is this? A powerpoint presentation on how to use teh twitters and teh internets to sell teh soccer tickets? Ggg must have put the powerpoint together. Because its that good. (also, before this pic, i had no idea this was a thing: http://www.mlssoccer.com/nationalsalescenter/about)
an academy player @gdebolt30 tweeted this pic, @GuldanMR retweeted it. Away kit? I believe the academy has been wearing the same kits as the Sr. Team, if i'm not mistaken:
I will believe that the Crew will wear uniforms with no yellow when the players take the field in them.
I was typing this as you posted: I'd be kind of disappointed if that's the away. No yellow. I don't believe it, but it could be a training top.
Could be, but the training tops do not seem to have that stripe across the chest, while the "adidas 15 mls match jersey" template from this seasons adidas catalog has that stripe. I agree though, if that is the away, could use some yellow.
I've talked to multiple players that never want a full black without a third; they do not want to be forced into an all black uniform when playing in the south.
I cannot say this enough, but I would absolutely love it if this one made another appearance, this time with the new crest over the left breast and without a collar.
Seriously? I think that shirt is hideous. Inaugural kit for the new crest or not, I would avoid that like the plague.
Repeating myself for emphasis. Doesn't the club have the final say re: design or color? I was under the impression that Adidas presents options based on templates, then the club decides. Why would Our Powers That Be choose black "change strips" over what their own players want/what is better for the team when playing in the sun in the summer?
Indeed. Thankfully, it seems like the "collar craze" is a thing of the past. I wasn't a big fan of that. Likewise, I'm not much of a fan of the adidas logo in the center and the club logo on the side. Either put them both centered or one logo on each side.
It may seem trivial, but from a marketing perspective, wouldn't having the crest centered instead of the traditional "over the heart" on the left chest be better? If you're wearing an unzipped jacket or fleece, you can see the crest on the jersey, whereas it is covered up if it's on the left chest.
The black one is for sale. Training. http://crewscshop.com/collections/men-s/products/columbus-crew-sc-grey-pre-season-training-top
