Great goalkeeping from Tunisian keeper, Zambia clearly dominating the game so far, but a lot of wasted opportunities, they may come to regret the chances they squandered in the first half.

This game has Algeria-South Africa written all over it (long before the goals). I expect Tunisia to win this one now.

Too many wasted chances which let Tunisia win the game despite Zambia being the better team on the field. And now, they'll miss Mayuka for the last game.

Tunisia on the other hand has good chances to advance to the next round.

Zambians should have killed the game while they had the chance.

Well, I'm not the last one to throw shade at our neighbors , I'd say they played a much cleaner and fair game than they usually do

    0-0 between DRC & CPV.
Both teams had their chances but Congo just couldn't shoot on target while Kidiaba had a lot of saves to deny Cape Verde from goals. Everything's still open in this group as well.

Unfortunately, both teams captains (Mulumbu & Babanco) went down with injuries. Hopefully it's nothing serious

Looks like a more defensive Algerian team with Taider replacing Mahrez, I expected Soudani instead.

    Ghana - Algeria
Very intense, high quality game, even if the football is in the middle of the field. Baba and Amartey make a huge difference at the back for Ghana. Great defending by them. Algeria's defence also with a cracker of a game.

2 shots (both off target) between the two sides (both by Algeria), one of them a superb goalscoring chance. Ghana with the upper hand as the match continued and with a last ditch tackle by Mandi taking the ball off Gyan in the last minute of the game.

Very brutal game, but very well reffed. Both sides are not saints I must say. In that regard ugly football. 21 fouls in the first half (10-11)

Algeria dominated the first part of the half, and Ghana the latter part. Very rough game.

Very intense game but like said, not much of chances created. Also, a lot of fouls and contact so far.

    Let's hope for a better 2nd half

I didnt find this match really entertaining, and I also think the ref has struggled a bit. Missed some blatant cards on Taider and Acquiah early in the game, the fighting should also have resulted in a yellow for each. At least he got his cards out later in the half, so we can only hope that the players calm down a bit and start playing real football.

Algeria look more comfortable in possession than against South Africa, and the defence has improved. But we are really struggling to create any chances. Despite being the bookmakers' favorites going into this game, I'd take a draw in without thinking twice.

Also, I cannot stand this commentator on BeIn Sports anymore. He is so biased against the North African teams that its embarrasing. He called a penalty on Medjani when he inadvertedly touched the ball with his hand after getting a push in the back, and he wanted Belfodil to be sent off when he was simply responding to a Ghana defender's aggression. The worst thing is that he is constantly correcting the main commentator, which is the only of the two that actually know a bit, although he "raised his flag" for offside on a throw in :D

Still extremely happy with BeIN sports coverage though. Amazing that we can see tournaments like this and even qualifiers on TV or online.

Gyan is the best striker in Africa. Short and simple.

Gutted because of the last minute goa, but truthfully, a deserved win for Ghana and they get back on track.

We've been playing really poor so far and very uninspired. Now, we'll most likely need to beat Senegal for the last game...

Ahhh. Last minute of the game. Two teams that did not deserve to win, but Ghana was still the better side as they went for it in the 2nd half, while Algeria tried to secure a draw.

Very disappointed by the team so far. Also, judging my their effort and attitude, stars like Brahimi and Feghouli do not look like they want to waste their time in no man's land in Africa...

And now I'll be pulling for SA to at least get a draw but idk it seems like it'd be really tough...

A Senegal win would be very bad for us...

absolutely. Gyan is a world class striker, I don't care what anybody says. That was a world class finish, did you see how wide he was and how tight that angle was ? To come off Malaria, play 90 minutes, and run on to that and have the composure to finish in such a do or die situation. Simply world class.

Ghana started very poorly in this match, but improved as time went on, in the end they deserved to win.

I think Ghana and Senegal are going through in this group like I had originally predicted.

I think South Africa will give Senegal a tough game though, but rooting for the Senegalese.
