Bumping our boys to the 1st page. Gets the start vs Rotherham. Good day for the YA Championship edition.
Forest started as one of the Top Two in the Championship, and stayed there for the first six fixtures. Since then, it's been a rough road. With half of the games played, they stand at #10 and in free fall, with a +2 GD (but also falling). I don't see them moving to the Premiership any time soon.
Signed a 2.5 year extension, his current deal was to run out this summer. Probably gives him a bit of a wage increase I'd think?
Official announcement: http://www.nottinghamforest.co.uk/news/article/lichaj-lands-new-deal-2172929.aspx Not sure if this is just poorly-worded. The Football League website says the following: http://www.football-league.co.uk/ne...signs-new-nottingham-forest-deal-2173778.aspx
Brits note their extensions as though the contract begins the day it's signed (which, technically, it does). So, a 2.5-year "extension" is really a new contract that lasts for 2.5 years, rather than 2.5 years tacked on to the end of the current contract.
That makes more sense. Good for Eric. Sadly, I don't see Forest making it back to the Premiership in that period of time.
Do you guys have any idea how much Lichaj might make per year? I'm not familiar with Championship wages.
Not sure, but I'm curious as well. He had low wages for that club but it was in the PL whereas he's a starting XI for NF now he's making decent wages though it's in the Championship.
Dan Harding, who plays on the other side, is reported to make 46K Euros per month, which makes 552K Euros per year, which is 675K USD/year. Eric must be doing something close to that. http://sportsearning.com/2013/05/08/dan-harding-salary-details/ PS: All that is basic fees, who knows about bonuses.
Yeah - Impressive research by that site. http://sportsearning.com/2013/05/08/nottingham-forest-fc-players-salary-list/ http://sportsearning.com/about-sports-earning/
why is it so hard to find about footballer wages? It's even more difficult for say in the Italian or French leagues.
