What a game. In addition to the five goals, and Marta's amazing performance, there were at least three shots off the posts (Rapinoe, Press and I think Debinha).
Marta was the show!!!! Truth is, the US didn't play it's best game, but no other team on the planet has a player of Marta's skill-set!!!!! So don't read too much into the game.

Stop making excuses for this team. They are not yet ready to win the World Cup, starting from the Coaches to the water boy. If and when the USWNT loses to Sweden in Group D, they will have to face Brazil in the Round of 16. They've never gotten worse than 3rd place in a WWC before, but Ellis might not even make the Quarterfinal. Marta may score the game winning goal in the 122nd minute to beat the US. I too wondered why Dunn got no PT? Is she still hurt like Morgan and just brought along for training?!? I'd have left Leroux on and if Morgan isn't healthy, brought on Rodriguez for Wambach, and just ran at the defense with Press, Leroux, Heath, Rodriguez, and Lloyd.
Not a single excuse is being made. But honestly no other player in the world will be able to run at the defense like Marta did today. It's why she is who she is!!! Brasil outplayed the US today, but to deny that Marta was a HUGE part of that isn't on the level.
