So where does the "copa update" fall in line with adidas' new line up?

I stand corrected! I was just digging through the adidas website we order from and the names have changed to X and Ace...............................

Oh boy. I think I liked the other names better.

Yeah, me too. I've found that round studs are the ones for me. This boot looks promising all in all I think.

Got the black/white/red Predators in today where I work and I was about to get a pair (Absolion) but I'm not sure on the sizing.
I'm always a UK 10 but I found the 10s very tight, the length was perfect so I don't really want to go up to an 11. Can anyone tell me from experience if they stretch much? I don't get the feeling they will...

Minimal stretching. I always wear 8 UK in Adidas and for me, the Instincts were a little small in 8's and too big in 8,5's, but my feet are pretty wide. If you have normal-sized feet going true to size should be alright.

When you say you are always a UK 10 do you mean in general or in adidas?
Be aware that adidas UK sizing is wrong, so if you're actual foot size is 10 you need a 10.5 in adidas.

Hey guys, just felt obligated to follow-up on my earlier question. I ended up buying the Copa Mundials FG from teamexpress.com and it came right on time and correct. Final price (no tax, shipping was free) was $84.95. I feel like I got a great price, I'm seeing them advertised for $150+tax & shipping at some places.

The website seemed a little suspect because there were typos and incorrect size descriptions, when I called customer service they gave me incorrect info, and bbb.org had many several registered complaints against them, but the product came exactly as ordered.

    What do you mean?

There is no such thing as true to size unless you are talking about consistent sizing within the brand. The latter is not something Adidas is known for with the Copa.

Can anyone explain what's up with Riquelme's boot?

This is an Adipure I, which I know he's been using for YEARS and must have a huge pile of them or maybe still gets them made by adidas for him.

Is it me, or does this boot have the nitrocharge style stitching on the front of the boot?

That's a customized version of the Adipure IV which you can see by the mock heel cup and also the color way, which would explain the stitching pattern which is on normal Adipure IV's just slightly differently. Riquelme wore the Adipure I for a ridiculous amount of time, so it makes sense his custom shoe carries so many characteristics of the original Adipure. Absolutely beautiful boot.

Not in the UK. The UK sizing doesn't line up properly with the US, Japanese, etc sizing. For example UK8 should be US9, but if you look in the label of a US9 boot it will have UK8.5

Gotta be. 13 studs and the heel doesn't look like that anymore.

Is the current colourway in the F50 the final colour before the new design comes out in February?
