The over/under on the first stream freeze up has been set at 06:30 into the conference. Place your bets.
Tommy Wilson's presence seems to imply Rene will be involved with youth development and possibly recruiting as well.
Well, a guy with the same haircut and thick rimmed glasses was up front. Maybe it wasn't him, he didn't turn around.
Adding permanent sporting director. But Rene is being added as a consultant until that role is filled. Which, of course, means that its his job to be mediocre enough to make permanent in a few month. Hopefully he's aces and the inevitable permanent hire is deserved.
"teams that may have more resources than we have..." Interesting look into our financial standpoint, to no one's surprise.
Kinkead asking hard hitting question about financial resources available. Nick and Jay squirm in their chairs.
so, rene is part owner of a consultant firm. http://t.co/1PLHuZiD3S does that mean we are just paying for his firms services, and he doesnt really work for the U?
Ha ha ha. Nick Sak shiftily taking the mic from Rene. The camera zooms in. Sugarman dancing around the fact that relieving Sak of his director duties was desperately needed is fun. --- That said -- I actually love Nick Sak as a business director. He's fantastic at that side of the coin.
That's what I'm getting. The move makes sense for Rene and the Union. We get his player evaluation in the short-term and he gets functional MLS knowledge to use for his firm when his temporary term is up.
Love this. Meulensteen: "The only draft I'm used to is a different kind of course."— Philadelphia Soccer Now (@phlsoccernow) November 14, 2014
