I'm curious about the logo under the Impact logo at center field, anyone know who was the previous owner of this turf?

What I saw of it did look familiar, like from the first incarnation of the MISL. That would make it one very old rug.
At least they don't have the play-by-play and color commentators from the Norfolk Sharxx. I remember them doing impressions of Yoda on the air.
Oh, my God, that was bad. They had a rotating group of people (whoever they could find + whatever injured player) and I think I remember one of them had some ability, but that person didn't do many games. Teams simply don't put any effort whatsoever into finding people to call their games.
Here's what it looked like before they superimposed their logo on the center turf: All I can make out is the word "Game".
That would be The Game Sports Center in Glen Carbon, Illinois, so good call with the ex-St. Louis Illusion carpet. I'll say this much though, that's a much bigger crowd than the Beaumont Strikers saw at any time in the last two years.
This will be quite the digression, and for that, I apologize, but for those of you who don't recall the Norfolk SharX, please to enjoy this bit from a game three years ago tomorrow.
Wow. LOL. Was that a child or a female? I liked how they cheered like fans instead of doing their play-by-play jobs when saves or shots happened. That was a different take on announcing for sure, maybe it will eventually catch on...or maybe not.
