Strictly speaking the EVOPower ... I think the synthetic model is one of those you can not die before you use it ...
Owes nothing to any boot of leather...

Many pros in the EvoPower seem to have leather, just in showcase colors we can't get....regardless the leather models look great in retail, too. The synthetic is a very unique boot and while I've hardly used mine so far, the limited use has been impressive.

Footwear is 45% markup. Minus any discounts retailers get because of volume.....................But yes synthetics are cheaper once the tech to make them is nailed down. Look how long Nike has used Teijin on the Vapors.

Correct. Sorry I meant to say that's what the retailers pay. Retailers mark up 45%. Or rather are told to. I do the buying for the store I work for and well sometimes it's a little retarded the prices even we get charged. I'm not gonna name names though........

the evopower is a hugely under rated boot, I have worn mine for one game and it was a joy from start to finish, Im a big fan of the upper very unique indeed

I'm half tempted to get a pair, I had a old pair of V1.06 and I always felt PUMA boots have a better lifetime in them, but heard they run a bit small?

Wondering whether it's a contract renewal thing (which Nike won't comment on) or a comfort thing, like he did with the Tiempo Premier back in his AC Milan days.

I personally kind of lean towards the latter - given it's a heel injury he's coming back from I can understand why he wouldn't want to wear a Superfly.

Additionally, Nike had two Zlatan-heavy campaigns this summer - I can't imagine they'd let him slip so soon after.

I went up a half size from synthetic adidas in them and half a size from my leather EvoSpeed 1.3. I am generally the same size in Nike as I am in my EvoPower. I also have weird toes (very long 2nd toe aka Morton's toe) so anything but a perfectly rounded and slightly volumized toe box plays havoc with my sizing range.

I tend to just try on a range between two sizes and find the fit....that was hard to do with the EvoPower as I bought them on that ShoeBacca deal. I gambled due to reviews that I trusted and knowledge that I generally have sizing issues on synthetics with a curved toe box. Also the half size down (my normal leather Puma size) wasn't available so it was an easy button.

Moral of the story....know your feet and how you like a fit to feel. Personally even a half size off to the loose end causes me to go batshit crazy and I can't function in the boot. Others feel that way about overly snug boots which is where I will compromise and hope for the best vs, looser fits.

Interesting boot spot, Paddy McNair was in the latest Tiempo Legend V colourway yesterday having previously perhaps been under the united youth policy of black boots. He'd previously been in the stealth pack tiempo legend IV's but perhaps got the nod that he's allowed to have coloured boots now?

I've Morton's toe too so it's pretty hard to get that boots that fit well. I'm the same as you regarding sizing. If I know that I could have had a pair of smaller cleats it makes my current pair unwearable.
