Think what you like. I know exactly how these games go. You're confusing broadcast times for kickoffs. NBCSN has been doing this for MLS games since it started broadcasting MLS games. Again, if you don't know this by now, then you haven't been paying attention. Don't expect any sympathy from us here.
I'm going to be up in Boston for this game, and I was planning on going, but today's result kinda makes me disinterested in going. All the Revs have to do is bunker for 90 minutes, and I honestly don't want to pay good money to sit out in the cold and watch that.
Damn that catchy Believe song. I'm going to be singing that all night and probably tomorrow morning now.
Because I have a dictatorial streak in me, I hereby declare a moratorium on the MLS schedule discussions, while pointing out you have good playoff attendances in the playoffs from teams which had good attendances in the regular season, and poor playoff attendances from those which struggled to attract big crowds on a consistent basis in the regular season. And that's it!
Two legs in the CCL make sense, because the other options are less good (outside a complete restructuring). Away goals make sense there too, since in a mid-week match, especially one with usually lots of travel involved, you want to minimize the chance of extra time. Neither of these make sense in MLS.
if you say to me that you will be at my place at 10:10 and you only arrive at 10:35 that' a delay. I'm not saying that is a delay in my point of view, it is definitely a delay.
Oh, so now that your team is playing, we all have to focus on the game? What is this, Stalinist Russia?
Jockeys are the funniest looking people. Can't we dress them in a different fashion, so they don't look quite as humiliated?
And for NBC, they say they're going to start their broadcast at xx:00, and it will end at xx+2:30, meaning the kickoff won't be at the broadcast start time.
yeah, this is what I was talking about, I'm used to but I'm not really satisfied with this, still piss me off every time, because it's wrong
By the way, if you're looking for a horse to hate in the Breeders Cup Classic, #6 Shared Belief is part owned by Jim Rome. I'm hoping the horse jumps the rail and tramples him.
