"You are accessing this page from a restricted territory. MLS LIVE is not available outside of the United States, Canada, and Mexico." Well, that sucks.
I just discovered I get UDN. This would have been useful information in the past. (Though I strongly suspect this is a recent development.)
revs dont seem to know they are playing an away game, maybe away goals should count double in regular season too?
Let me just say that watching the replay of that goal and the whole lead up... that was absolutely bush league organization by the Columbus D. Massive mistake. CD was unmarked the whole time. Nice finish of course... but crazy poor defending.
I've had this rugby game on the TV. Not watching intently, but every so often just turning my head for a moment to see it. Kind of a curiosity thing. Anyway, every time I look over, New Zealand appears to be scoring.
You've heard the phrase the guy couldn't score in a whorehouse. Well, in this case Soldier Field is one big whorehouse and they're all desperate for business.
The Jets have a better fanbase than Columbus. I'm not saying the attendance isn't poor, but for Columbus at this time of year, it's cold. There also wasn't a ton of time to sell this one. There's a lot of reasons - chalking it up to a lack of dedication isn't enough. Plus, Ohio State plays at home tonight. Columbus is a distant second (or third) to them. It really shouldn't be overlooked.
That's the point. It's not being overlooked. The time for overlooking MLS 1.0 style support is over. It's time for these teams, whose fans can't even be bothered to show up for a playoff game, to put up or shut up, or else get bought and moved to a better location, of which there appear to be many.
