Tough way to start out the new season while having a serious eye on promotion back to the EPL.. 0-2 is no need for panic yet with 44 matches remaining, but what is needed moving forward with the summer transfer window still open and our play on the pitch?

0-3 now after another scoreless outing against Wolverhampton. Only scored 1 goal this season so far in 3 matches, what is going on??? Magath needs to find some chemistry and flow out there on the pitch before we fall 12 or 15 points back in the first 5 matches. The heat will definitely be on Magath if the cottagers lose the next match or two.

    Derby County 5:1 Fulham

Will Fulham have multiple relegations close together like Portsmouth did?

Fulham is 0-4 now and Derby had their way with Fulham all match. Can't see Magath staying on with one more defeat either next match or the following match. I really thought Jol was the issue with Fulahm getting relegated last season, they were all his players. Magath has brought in alot of his players now, but to his defence, he lost alot from last season, his entire backline, top 2 midfielders in sidwell and richardson and top 2 goalkeepers

Big win over Brentford in the league cup. This helps right the ship temporarily and alleviates some pressure on Magath for the moment. I'm not too impressed with Brentford as a championship club though, I feel this is a club Fulham should be able to handle with ease and I could see Brentofrd finishing at or near the bottom of the Championship.

This Saturday (Aug 30) will be the big test against Cardiff, who were relegated along us this past spring from the Premier League. Cardiff seems to be starting off and playing much better than us at the moment, should be another tough test and if they lose, they start 0-5 in the Championship. Can't see Magath making it through the following week if they lose

They could do it happened to Wolves more recently as well, Premiership to League One in two seasons. Once clubs get into a downward spiral it seems to be hard to dig themselves out, still early days this season though.

Thanks, you beat me too the punch, I've been away for a few weeks. Kit Symons who was part of Wales national team back staff takes over as caretaker manager. He previously coached Fulham's academy and played for the Cottagers for three seasons, 1998-2001.

I'm glad Khan finally stepped in, the last 2 losses to Reading and Forest only showed even more how far Fulham has slipped under Magath's signings and current squad. I really hope They find a new permanent manager and Khan seems to be adimant about it, just hope he isn't too busy with NFL team Jacksonville to not give this club the attention it needs and deserves. Not a whole lot of top level talent currently on the senior squad, the new manager will have their work cut out for them. But West London is an amazing place to play, manage and watch footy. The rest of the League was probably looking forward to making the trip to Fulham, hope it's changed now.

Fulham has stepped up play in the past week. 2 wins and 1 draw including the league cup, Fulham are currently at 7 points in the championship and that is a big improvement over magath.

Tough loss last weekend, but the turnaround isn't going to be overnight. We've still got some momentum and I believe Fulham will pull themselves out of the bottom three. Although making a run at promotion this season seems like worse odds than hitting the lottery

Yes mate, I was disappointed that we didn't win but watching you demolish Charlton now it was probably a great point in hindsight. I can see you flying up the table from here on.
