    Hehe, I was multitasking the whole day; two games on TV simultaneously (using the PIP-Split Screen feature), that is, I watched Sao Paulo vs. Gremio and Cruzeiro vs. Internacional side by side with college football games - amazing day with numerous upsets and thrilling endings, in college football) and was simultaneously reading a science fiction book on Kindle. So, I missed that corner...

    there is a video of the entire match too.

    the corner you are talking about takes place at 33:30 (23:00 of the match itself)

    the imbeciles of the media still talking about the Aranha Racism case without knowing what they are talking about.

    they talk as if everyone in the standing area were members of the T.O. Geral. It´s more like 10% only. The standing area is open to anyone, and since it´s the cheapest place of the stadium, many people go there, people not related at all to the Geral TO.

    Thanks for this video.

    Great win by SPFC against a tough Grêmio team in Porto Alegre. With Cruzeiro's win over Internacional, SPFC is now only 1 point behind Internacional in the rankings.

    Minus Cruzeiro, who looks like it's going to repeat without many problems, it's going to be a contested race down to the wire.

    @Mengao86

    I was ready to talk some trash today if Flamengo had lost. We'd be tied on points but we'd have advantage with # of wins. Didn't realize we were that close .. I guess Luxa's streak got pretty cold :D

    I would have liked to have gotten 3 more points out of that run of "easy" games. At 34 pts we'd probably need ~11 pts more to probably be safe (historically 45 pts is a safe number). Now we face a very tough sequence of games.

    We were dropping too many points to draws and then we lost the last two. Good to be back in the win column. And soon, we will have an easier sequence of games. [emoji2]

    Flamengo's first 6-7 games were all tough, and then the diretoria decided to fire Jayme because of those games, hire Ney Fraco and everything went downhill from there.

    It's the truth. The guy won games and a tourney with a complete shit pile of a team. In the Libs, there were a ton of very important injuries, some games had 5-6 starters out, and they still should have advanced if not for some very unlucky things happening. He deserved a lot more time and lot more respect.

    Internacional is confusing. It's got very good players (D'Alessandro, Rafael Moura, Nilmar, Dida) and Abel Braga is, IMO, a fine and underrated manager. They're in the Libertadores G-4 and they actually took 2nd place from SPFC. Yet tonight Chapecoense beat them 5-0. Chapecoense is a team that through this result got a bit farther away from the relegation zone.

    I loved it. First, I don't like Grêmio with their arrogant (and some of them, racist) fans. Second, I like Palmeiras from the standpoint of origin, given that it was also Palestra Italia like my Cruzeiro.
    Well done, hopefully there will be no relegation for Palmeiras this year, and things will be even better in 2015.

    GABRIEL!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry @Brasitusa , I know you're missing some key players but even other teams have a hard time doing this to Cruzeiro w/o key players. Cruzeiro seem to struggle when they play us at Maracana in the last few years.

    The relegation teams have been providing some upsets and moving up the table lately.

    Yes, true. Cruzeiro has not won at Maracana this season. The team seems tired and missing essential players. I hope we'll do better once everything is back on track, and then we'll maintain the advantage to the second placed team, but it is true that lately we've had a string of bad results, and if this continues, obviously we won't be able to hang on to first place.
