Who: Toronto FC v. Houston Dynamo When: Wednesday, October 8 @ 6:30 pm CDT Where: BMO Field, Toronto, ON Yeah, uh so their record is yadda yadda yadda, ours is a worse dumpster fire. BMO Field has been a worse house of horrors than New Jersey has ever been for us. Whatever.
Boy, it's gonna be hard to drum up interest in this team in the offseason without some dramatic changes. At least the last few years they played deep into November, the season is effectively over on October 5th. I don't think we can be mathematically eliminated until next Saturday at the earliest.
No Boniek and Garrido but still they can try and spoil Toronto's playoff hopes. Our Dynamo got nothing to lose. Go all-out attack. Forget Corey Ashe hat trick. #TylerDericHatTrick #StartAlexLopez
I'll quote Jen Cooper (Keeper Notes Soccer Show Sundays at 10AM on YSR 1560) and day we should put all the kids out there to see what we have these last few games to prepare for next season, Dom or no
And that's why with Dom making those types of decisions you have to determine if you want him leading the ship beyond 2014. After Wednesday, we are probably going to be in 2015 evaluation mode but will put out lineups like we need the victory.
Bad news is that Defoe is back. Expect to see him put one in on a counter attack. We will have to score more than one to get a draw.
Who: Toronto FC v. Houston Dynamo When: Wednesday, October 8 @ 6:30 pm CDT Where: BMO Field; Toronto, ON Records: Toronto FC (11-12-7) 6th place in the EAST Houston Dynamo (10-14-6) 8th place in the EAST TV: CSN-H Radio: 1560/850 This is the 31st league game and the 16th road game. This is the third meeting this year between the two teams. Toronto got a home win and road draw back in July . Toronto's most recent game was a 3-0 road loss at the LA Galaxy on October 4. They are 2-2-1 in their last five league games, scoring 7 and allowing 8. The Reds are 7-6-2 in home league games this year with a +2 goal difference. Their next game after hosting Houston is at New York on October 11. The Dynamo are 2-11-2 in road games this year with a -21 goal difference. The next games for the Dynamo will be back here in Houston against DC United on Wednesday, October 12 and against New England on October 16.
-----------Cummings -------Davis-------Barnes Beasley-----Rico------Driver Ashe--AJ--Horst--Sarkodie -----------Deric
At least Wednesdays is $1 pint night at my neighborhood watering hole. It will take the sting outta this inpending road loss and close out of our 2014 season. Still. DALE DYNAMO! Rico and the guys that care, well they all have earned our eternal support!!!
I'd go 3-4-3 ---DMB----Barnes-----Cummings --------------Davis-------------------- -------Clark------Carrasco----------- --Ashe---Cochrane -- Horst--Sarkodie ---------------Deric------------------- Ownby for Cummings at some point Driver for DMB or Davis at some point
My line-up for Toronto Bruin - Cummings Davis - Lopez - Barnes Rico Beasley - Cochrane - Horst- Sarkodie Deric When our Hondurans get back Barnes - Bruin Davis - Lopez - Garcia Garrido Beasley - Rico- Horst- Sarkodie Deric - Bruin or Cummings? Would you keep both in '15 at less than [$200k] each? I could see keeping Cummings at [$150k] in '15 [please tell me we're done on his present contract at the end of this season]. I could see keeping Bruin at up to [$200k]. He will work at finishing in the off-season, like he did his left footed shot. I still see him in Orange in '15. - Time for Lopez to sink or swim in the big pool for the rest of the season. - Rico's position in '15 should be CM if his concussions don't make him too gun-shy for this role, as we are really weak there. He's not our answer at AM, and Garrido is now our future at DM.
What i'd like to see: DMB---Cummings---Barnes -----Davis--------Alex------ -------------Rico------------- Ashe-Cochrane-Horst-Sarkodie --------------Deric------------- What we'll most likely see..... -----Cummings--Barnes----- Davis--Rico--Carrasco--Driver DMB-Cochrane-Horst-Sarkodie --------------Deric---------------- There not much to be excited about now, but atleast I now have something to watch Wed. night.
Tie 1-1. A tie keeps us in the playoffs run. For that matter, even a LOSS keeps us in the playoffs, with 12% chances if we win the last three. The important thing to SELL SEASON TICKETS. Even a loss helps us sell season tickets if we spin it the right way. It's all about selling season tickets. Winning the Shield or the Cup is not important to this organization. Sell season tickets!
Brewskis in Stafford. They have 4 convenient locations around town. Mexican Mondays are terrific import beer specials and te-kill-ya specials and Wednesday is, well was, $1 pint nite but now with so many homeless people roaming the streets of Stafford after hearing about Westie on the prowl downtown, the prices went up to $1.75! HAHAHA!!!
Yeah, the Katy one is 180 degrees opposite of how the one in Stafford is. Ours in Stafford is just like the bar in the TV show Cheers. Big wooden bar, near 1980's like prices and everyone is really friendly. Katy, which I went to once has no kitchen, is layed out like a Dr. Seuss 3 story wierdo play house and has higer prices so don't bother really. I don't know about Copperfield as the company lists their locations as B1, B2, B3 and B4. Stafford is B4 and it rules the company!
This might be a first. More voting for a Dynamo loss than a Dynamo win. I'm not sure I've ever seen that. Ever.
