OLEEEE OLE OLE OLEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CHAMPIONS OF 2014!!!!!!!!! :)

Man, the last 15 minutes or so were nerve-wrecking, some very close chances for Harrisburg to equalize but we held up strong and even added to our lead just before the end. Awesome stuff!

    It was.

Except for our shooting ... lordy have we gotta work on that!

Hard to believe that was a third division championship game. Didn't look like it. Didn't feel like it.

I guess USL doesn't have much of a budget for the championship trophy.

I'm hoping this sealed the deal for Sacramento getting the next MLS franchise. Can't see how anyone else would beat them to it with their attendance and performance on the pitch. We know Orlando is already gone, It just seems so perfect of a match for the next team to be Sacramento.

Was a little bummed for USL to see the galaxy reserves make the playoffs, don't want to see any reserves make it to the playoffs, it doesn't bode well for the league or the USL's other existing teams.

I completely agree. Galaxy II were a strong team this season without a doubt, but there's something uneasy about a club with barely any fans and no identity of their own making a playoff run. (not so much as a FB page!) Hopefully this was the exception and next season we'll see a little more parity among the teams, though that will be a lot to ask for with so many expansion teams and Orlando moving on.

But, they're not reserves, they're a totally different team! IMO, the less "MLS II" teams in USL Pro, the better. It would be better for the sport in America to model it off of the minor league affiliate system like MLB does rather than pseudo-reserves going by the same identity as their main club.
