Ajax: The Drive For Five

I mean Frank is trying to get Andersen in the squad with keeping his safety precautions as much as possible in tact. Meaning not playing him on his best spot in midfield. He already said he does see him as a midfielder. It's a bit of a slap in the face of Kishna that a non winger is preferred over him for the winger position.

 

Youri Mulder says that the location of the stadium brings heavy conditions for any player. He participated in a rondo once before a game he did not play and was already tired. Field is not that good either.

 

Still expecting a win here. I know Barcelona only scored 1 goal, but still. Hopefully they carry some confidence from the weekend and Klaassen continues to build on his extremely high level of play.

Agreed. Barcelona is falling apart against PSG right now defensively which doesn't bode well for Ajax since I can't see them falling flat twice. This is especially troubling for the group since PSG is without Ibra and Silva.

 

Looks like that ball was on the chest and after that only a slight touch after that, but that did nothing for the trajectory of the ball. I am not even sure that he touched the ball after he chested it.

 

Cillessen with a great penalty save of course ....

Once again Cillessen doesn't even attempt to save the penalty. Looks like a fish out of the water in that situation

 

Funny thing is that the ref had a better view than his assistant, yet he took his word for it.

 

Can anyone try to stop a penalty or does it have to be the keeper? lol next time just send a defender or something in there.

I will say I would much rather see El Ghazi on than Sigporsson. It has been hard though on Ajax seeing as they should be 1 - 0 or 2 - 1 but a free goal was given by the ref.

 

I'm seriously tired of all these bullshit calls against us...
