Why did Aguirre had dinner with Forlan and not other foreign players? And Also, Forlan did not recommend Hasegawa instead of Ogihara?
Forlan would be able to speak Spanish, which I don't think there are many native spanish speakers in the J.League. As for your 2nd question you should ask him yourself.
A match in which Aguirre's former team Zaragoza is involved is being investigated for match-fixing. http://www.marca.com/2014/09/25/futbol/1adivision/1411599846.html

Japan squad v. Jamaica/Brazil: Goalkeepers: Eiji Kawashima, Shusaku Nishikawa, Shuichi Gonda Defenders: Hiroki Mizumoto, Yuto Nagatomo, Kosuke Ota, Daigo Nishi, Maya Yoshida, Tsukasa Shiotani, Gotoku Sakai, Gen Shoji Midfielders: Hajime Hosogai, Masato Morishige, Junya Tanaka, Shinji Kagawa, Ryota Morioka, Gaku Shibasaki Forwards: Shinji Okazaki, Keisuke Honda, Mike Havenaar, Yu Kobayashi, Yoichiro Kakitani, Yoshinori Muto
Surprised not to see Hasebe/Kiyotake/Usami. Surprised to see Junya Tanaka despite not playing a single match and being left out of his club team squad in the last month, but it seems Aguirre really rates him and didn't find a better replacement yet. I think Hasebe was left out because Aguirre is either thinking about building a team for the future or maybe he already knows his qualities and see no point in testing him in friendlies. But what about Usami and Kiyotake? Kiyotake will surely be a better alternative than Junya Tanaka even if he plays as a CM. Happy to see Ota and Kobayashi, as they are amongst the most consistent performers in J-League this season. I think that Aguirre had a bad impression about Hiroki Sakai and choose not to recall him and call-up Daigo Nishi instead, while he might left out Uchida because he is just came back from a lengthy injury and wants to give him enough time te get back to 100% with his club team. ... and lol at Havenaar's recall, but maybe he wants to try him as an alternative for the tall-striker role as both Osako and Minagawa didn't have an outstanding outings last month. Other than that the squad is looking good. Good Luck Japan.
In terms of longevity its probably a good idea to not call Hasebe all the time back and forth from Germany. Maybe just call him for AC and then leave him until late 2017 and check in again if he's going to add anything. Unless Japan have a terrible WCQ campaign and look like they really need him again.
Nice to see Shoji and Ota included. Morishige and Hosogai together at DMF is a waste. And Gotoku is definitely not better than Hiroki.
Where were you? Didn't you watch Aguirre's first two games? Morishige played as a Defensive midfielder in both of them and he did a good job especially against Uruguay
Still not Usami LOL is it a joke ? This guy hasn't yet a single cap... There must be something wrong we don't know with him, I can't see any other explanation. Or it's just unfair. Not Hasebe nor Uchida, ok.
wow lol confusing selection so Ogihara and Matsubara were called up to make two benches? Ookay ? clearly the reason here is that he can play on both sides Anyway, I'm very happy to see Ota, Nishi, Shiotani, not so much to not see Usami and to see Havenaar. I hope that Kagawa in MF doesn't mean that he's going to use him there but I have a bad feeling about that :/ Also we're going to play Brazil, I'm a little scared with this midfield without Hasebe
Personnally, I have a bad feeling about Honda and Kagawa playing as wingers in a 4-3-3 but I'm sure we're moving towards that.
Ok Brazil again. But with a totally different coach and pretty different team. Neymar will play? And Jamaica... 1998 again but I bet the final result will be quite different.
I don't think Ogihara or Taniguchi, etc. can perform much badly than Morishige in the DM role in the JNT'S style. I think Aguirre should be more willing to try other guys.
