    What: DC United vs Tauro FC
    Where: Estadio RFK
    When: Wednesday, September 24, 8 PM
    Watch: Fox Sports 2 (though if you're in DC, you should be at the game!)

    What's at stake: A win or draw puts United through to the knockout stages in 2015. Tauro got beat up on twice by Waterhouse already, but I still think it would be a mistake to play all reserves. Get a good mix of players in (so fans won't get bored watching crap soccer), get the win for better seeding in the next round, and make the game in Panama meaningless for anything other than seeding purposes.

    This game is set up to make me crazy.
    A weeknight game where I do not have a parking pass so either I have to get downtown at 1:30 to get in free or pay the same amount as two tickets to park.
    Then Benny will put out a mostly-reserve squad (and Perry Kitchen) that will seem as if they've never played organized soccer before against a team with nothing to lose trying to impress the scouts they believe are in the crowd of 8,422 people. The "passing skill" alone is sure to give me heartburn.

    Tauro is a cow-related word, right?

    Maybe the local Panamanian community is bigger than the local Jamaican one. :)

    How many regular starters start this game? Anyone placing bets? I'd like 6 and I think it is realistic. I think we'll see 4. Somewhat depends on your definition of "regular starter" of course.

    I would assume we'd see Espindola starting since he didn't play Saturday. EJ, if his concussion symptoms subside. Korb to get him more fitness, and since Kemp is suspended. Hopefully more than that, but who knows what Olsen will be thinking.

    good, he needs the work :) And Bill could use some watching from the bench, that never hurts when it doesn't upset your starting rhythm.

    I haven't a clue how you'd know this, but I've been hoping it :)

    I just checked both Fox Sports 1 and Fox Sports 2 websites, as well as Verizon's broadcast information guide- Tonight, Fox Sports 1 at 8:00 PM showing Sporting KC vs. Real Esteli, 10:00 PM showing Portland Timbers vs. Alpha United FC. Fox Sports 2 at 8:00 PM showing College Football San Diego State at Oregon State???? WTF????
    Any Concacaf streams available??? and what's with the FOX dis to DC United???

    There are plenty of streets around the stadium where you can park and - although not allowed during RFK events - nobody is going to check

    Maybe things have changed, but since the WCQ years ago when they parked overflow parking on the grass outside the parking lot and every car in my row was broken into, no thanks.

    Some bullets:
    * Willis will start
    * Korb is ready to play, but not for 90 minutes.
    * EJ is ready to play
    * Opare and Inkoom are likely to start
    * Espy expected to play
    * Estrada available

    So a line-up guess

    --------------Espy-------------EJ------------------
    Pontius----------------------------------Estrada
    -------------Kitchen-----Jeffrey------------------
    Korb-------Opare------Birnbaum------Inkoom
    -------------------Willis----------------------------

    But maybe not, given how many of these guys Benny might not want to go 90 (Korb, Pontius, Estrada, EJ).

    Back 4 could be shaky, but would hold, and the front 6 are more than enough, I'd be happy with that line up. But I'm afraid you're right, I think we'll see 2 or 3 changes that downgrade the squad.

    Sorry, I'd already read the previous post about it, and confirmation bias slipped in. Article says he might start. I do take it to mean Goff's heard something to that effect or seen something in practice, it just isn't confirmed.

    When they say the lots open 4 hours before kickoff do they really open 4 hours before kickoff or is there an unofficial early opening time period before that. This question is primarily for Saturday when I want to get there before 11am.
