Well were do you begin after watching that car crash display. From the team announcement, it was clear to everyone that Martinez was doing his now annual tinkering against Palace, once again trying to take the piss out of them & in a nutshell taking them lightly. When will he learn that he isn't Mourinho, he is bang average manager who occasionally hits on a system that works (mainly down to players making it work rather than his system).
We have played 2 out and out strikers how many times from the start how many times in last 10 yr? Am sure its less than the digits on one hand, doing this he exposed a 33yr Barry who was playing his 3rd game in 7 days & apparently fitter than Naismith, Mirallas & McGeady ( well most are fitter than him tbf!) but more on them in a min. What was the logic behind sacrificing the 2 wingers and creating extra workload for Baines? Not sure which of coaches is in charge of defensive duties but he is clearly a ********tard of the highest order, 13 goals conceded in 5 games is a shocking stat. How do you turn a well drilled back 4 (& best young centre half for years) into one which doesn't know each other, we look likely to concede every time the opposition attacks. I suppose I should talk a little bout the game. Good assist from Ossie and well finished from Lukaku. A non pen for me but well taken from Baines.
A few final musings a 33yr old is fitter than Mirallas? Eto'o is an impact sub, Can we have the real Howard back (or maybe that was the real one and we had a good imposter for awhile. Atsu is a shitter, black version of Geri Deulofeu (skill but with little to no brain) and can we have a game of Where's Muhamed? Is he busy trying mark Messi on Fifa 15?

howard's head seems to have been turned by that historic 18 saves.... maybe this is the kick up the pants he needs to get back to business and not being too cocky... just the right amount to be a badass keeper.

I hate to say this, but i think it's Distin and his age catching up... when stones and jags played in CB positions together, look at how much better we played. I think jags/baines are left scrambling to cover and with howard not communicating/trying too be too all-masterful it didn't work.

I was worried when they hired martinez, and i gave him credit for an amazing season, but right now it looks like it was could have been a fluke.... maybe Moyes solid defense was still in place and now it's been destroyed by whatever tactics RM is telling them to use... it's kinda sad.... and kinda "everton"
