Well I'm the footwear manager at a soccer store. We normally do meetings with sales reps and place orders about 8 months in advance. So I haven't seen anything yet for next summer but the will be some very big changes from adidas especially...........

That's not quite how it works. I won't see the colours and shoes until December earliest. But since Jay-Mike works for such a large company maybe he will see them in the next month?

Normally orders for footwear and jerseys are placed 8 months in a advance. Maybe 9 or 10 for the big guys. Although there are preview events where the company invites you to it's headquarters and shows you what is coming in the next year. Jay-Mike would surely know more than me already!

 

My bad, meant it as sort of a joke. Have a friend working in the largest store in Singapore and he's mentioned that to me before as well, he says he gets to test if about 6 months in advance? Do you get to test the blacked out boots?

 

No worries! I didn't take it that way!

Unfortunately I don't get to test boots ahead of lunch. My company is the biggest Texas and the states around but we are tiny compared to stores around the world!
