I like this. If Sanchez stays on the right, his tracking back can help Chambers.

Bellerin and Hayden most likely to make trip as cover. Monreal out apparently. Gibbo back in.

    According to Jeremy Wilson

    ‏@JWTelegraph 35m
Monreal only short-term but leaves #afc short of cover beyond starting back 4 of Chambers, Merte, Kos and Gibbs

    ‏@JWTelegraph 35m
Arsenal defensive problems have got worse. Monreal has not travelled to Dortmund. Chambers, Gibbs and Bellerin all in squad #afc

Arseblog reporting Debuchy out approximately 3 months. Ouch! We knew it was bad, but damn!

We'll be fine, we've got Hayden, Chambers and in the middle Diaby, Ox, Arteta, Wilshire, Ramsey and Flamini. Who's got it better than us!?!?!?!?

    On Twitter today, Bellarin posted:

'Confidence is having all the hard work done.'

I flippin' love this dude! Reminds me of the confidence Szczesney showed (in a Polish media interview) the day before his first start for Arsenal, at Old Trafford, no less.

A decent Ji Sun Park goal won the game 1-0 for United, but Szcz impressed and eventually became our number 1.

I'm not saying Bellarin is ready to displace Debuchy, but I liked what I saw in preseason, I like his demeanor on Twitter, and I hope he plays like a champion tomorrow.

Wayne Veysey saying his scan came back as a grade 3 ankle sprain, out 8-12 weeks.

Goal is shite. Wayne is a person who regularly reports on Arsenal injury and transfer news. For the most part he doesn't break news, he reports on what is already known.

Give him a follow on twitter and have an informed opinion.

That's good news in the light that I thought he had torn his Achilles tendon watching the match back LIVE on Saturday morning (I got up at 4:30 am PDT to see it), and if it was he would've been done for the entire season!!! Yes I know that 2-3 months is quite a long stint on the injured list though, but just think of what it could've been, at least it's better news than not having him for the rest of the year.

You bench Ozil and cite Saturday's performance. And you similarly bench Wilshere after his best performance in years?? I'd love to watch another JW performance like he had against City. No way Wilshere sits after that display.
Ramsey scored the goal against CP, sure - but outside of that moment he has brought nothing. Sadly, he's been a shell of his level last year, and he needs to sit in favor of Jack.

Immobile has been mediocre.... Tough start for him
Long term I don't think he is going to fit in...
Ramos will be a danger player

I thought this was a joke, then realized that BVB actually have a player named Immobile.

Kagawa played well at the weekend, too, slotted right back in like he never left from what I hear. He's a much better player than anyone judging him on the United seasons would think.
