Would be pointless as if you are released after the transfer window has closed, you can't be registered with a new team until it opens again in January. You need to be a free agent before the window closes. Thats why you see lower league teams releasing players on deadline day. No offer has come in, so they released them to allow them to find a new club in their own time. It used to be like that anyway, I dont think they've changed the rules. I remember Sol Campbell left Notts County after like one game in September, then had to wait till the New Year to play for Arsenal
Championship...? He should pray for even English League One.....and I'm only half joking. Dude has major issues.
We can debate til the cows come home the reason why he is in the situation he is in, but that really doesn't matter right now. The situation is he is at a club that doesn't want him and there'n absolutely nothing he can do there to improve his standing. This is where agents earn their keep. Gotta hope that someone is working the phones finding somewhere for Brek to go.
I fixed your post and if that makes me a keyboard curmudgeon so be it. Maybe I like art , does that still make me a curmudgeon? It was probably nice for him to have Stoke finance his art ventures with only a few hours of conditioning a few days a week.
His agent sort of earned his keep. He got Shea paid, pretty well. Now it's just up to Shea how desperate he wants to play.
Uhhh, if said agent is paying more income tax in a year than I'm pulling in as salary **** yeah I want to be his agent. The agent looks brilliant in Bogarde's case, it's the player that looks stupid.
Just out of curiosity, if Brek was making 1m $ per year, about how much would the agent get? And would the agent's cut come out of Brek's salary, or Stoke?
Righto, I want all our promising MLS attacking youngsters to stay where they are at, challenging themselves against powerhouse defenses that Chivas USA, Montreal ect. put out there.
All that superior competition to Chivas USA and Montreal sure didn't seem like much of a benefit to the English team this summer.
having grown up in Europe .... there is just a different atmosphere, culture and attitude that the US players need to become a part of. frankly with Brek's tweeting and pictures and hair - if his work habits and performance on the pitch weren't exceptional - than I am not surprised that he attracted adverse attention of his habits and immature actions. he may or may not get another chance somewhere .... but that is why we need #'s abroad - because some of the utes will get it and some will not. Darwin in action. My sense is that he is toast w/o a major change in his attitude.
my post had nothing to do with MLS I just think the EPL threads (Brek, Jozy, Dempsey etc) get flooded with alot of pointless/off topic debates and over-analyzing every little thing compared to, say the Bundesliga/Eredvisie guys It's hard to find any actual news/rumors in this one with most of the posts just being Brek bashing
