Very tough test for us. Away to a team many expect to make a serious challenge for the scudetto this year, and with us doing without 2 of our key players (Rossi due to injury, Cuadrado due to suspension). I'll be happy if we get out with a tie. A win for us would be amazing.

Agreed with CRSvideo. A tie would be satisfying but it'll be a nerve wrecking game. I'm just excited for the new season

This is truly what is best in life. To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women.

Neto couldn't do anything about that, the belgian recovered the ball-> good pass to gervin -> solid strike for the goal

On the bright side this should get management to get off its collective ass and get us a mediano.

Well that half was pretty horrible. We're supposed to be a possession team and we had like none. LOTS of easy giveaways (the one that led to the goal wasn't the only one, just the one that hurt us the most). I'm watching and seeing good passes that could be made that just aren't (instead players hold onto the ball and get it taken away, pass it back, or pass it forward to an area that is covered better). Annoying.

Fiorentina could use a Defensive Midfielder and a better Right Back.

    - This was wrong match to give Serie A debut to Brillante.

    - Could have been 1-1 (Ilicic from the FK hits the upper right cross bar).

    - Joaquin for Babacar.

    - Aquilani for Vargas.

Montella obviously got it all wrong with the starting lineup though I can see what he was trying to do. We really do need a rb and a dm.

Last play of the first half - we're attacking their goal but two of our players run into each other and end the play. Last play of the second half - our defender and goalkeeper run into each other and Roma score. We're better than this, damn it.

And for Borja to play way better than he did today.
