No one wants him, it seems and he rejected move to one brazillian club or something. Should give him to Sporting this time.
Cleverley signed his own ticket out of here. Every match I saw him play under LVG..he looked mentally weak...like he couldn't take the pressure. 9 million is a good price I guess. Maybe he'll thrive at a smaller club, with the pressure off.
Borussia Dortmund FF @BVBfansFF Follow According to "Radio 91,2" a Kagawa return to Dortmund is 'imminent'. (Via @LaurinHDo)
becasue we are manchester effing United we do what we want. As @Teso Dos Bichos said, need midfield help, sell or loan a fit midfielder. battling out for 6 th place? sell or loan to one of your direct rival
For Cleverleys position, Im happy to let Perreira take his spot. I know it was MK dons, but ... Id rather see him go there, just for their sake. probably unlikely we get any player or even first refusal, in return (unless we go for Destroy Bender) Reus having a clause and Hummels being extremely vital.
Lucas Sposito @LucasSposito_ Follow Kagawa close to Dortmund return http://www.ruhrnachrichten.de/sport/bvb/Nach-zwei-Jahren-in-England-Shinji-Kagawa-offenbar-vor-Rueckkehr-zum-BVB;art11635,2465162…
If they aren't willing to cut us any deals with their current players...then I don't think we should sell to them for cheap. We got him from them for a good price because he had 1 year left on his contract. That is not the case for us, and regardless if he has proved himself here or not, plenty of managers\clubs are aware of his ability. I think we could get at least 20 mill if a few clubs are aware he's available.
When I say on the way out, I mean we have seen the best of him and I think he is unlikely to perform at an elite level consistently for us anymore due to Speed has slowed due to age Decreased production due to more injuries Besides the Spain game, he was not impressive in the WC Hasn't played exceptionally well for us on a consistent basis since about February 2013 His hair is turning gray That being said, I love the guy for what he did from August '12 until February '13 and I hope he proves me wrong by scoring >20 goals this season for us.
There was no movement ahead of him, he was in a non-existent central midfield and there was utter chaos behind him. Considering he is best suited to a three man midfield and our tactics/system/selection has been abysmal I am not surprised to see him struggle under #LvGTFO!
Yep, that explains messing up simple passes. Football is a tough business at the top...if you show a lack of technical ability, and continue to look ordinary in every match you play....you've not taken your chance. We're not a ********ing charity for building the entire team around average players, so we can eek out every last drop of potential, build up their confidence, and make them look above average\good. They need to show something, regardless of how poorly the team is playing.
Kagawa + cash for Reus (& loan him back to Dortmund for remainder of season). Everyone is happy. Make it happen Woody...
Three days. We still need reinforcements. Send Villa a fax that says "thanks very much", put Clevs in a taxi and go seal the deal on an elite CM.
Reus? An attacking midfielder and winger? Have we not spent the last week debating how Angel Di Maria fits in our team?
As mentioned earlier, I have the same worries about RVPs age/productivity in next season or so. Not to mention Rooney is approaching 30 too. Reus can play forward role too right? I'd love to see a ADM, Reus, Mata, Januzaj line going forward
Reus and Di Maria on either side as wingers and Rooney or RVP up top with Mata be hind them would be a deadly attack. We would need 2 solid CM's behind them but damn that would be nice to watch.
I think they will start going down a bit soon, actually - but what's happened so far is that because Real/Barca set the market, it's been set much higher for the top 10 or so clubs, but lower for everyone else - thus Griezmann and the like moving for under 20M.
ADM/Reus would give us one hell of a wing tandem of Ribery /Robben Bale/Ronaldo calibre. If Reus is indeed available, given the circumstances, we should really push for a move. Makes more sense and will at least fit easier (I assume we won't be using 3-5-2 if it happens ) in our plans than keeping Kagawa on the bench.
The only problem is that everyone wants Reus, while only a few clubs particularly want Kagawa. Dortmund can easily sell to other clubs and don't want to in the first place, whereas you're desperate to monetize Kagawa, whom you don't need or even want.
Seems like most of the other potential suitors (ie the Reals and Bayerns) will just try to grab him next summer with the release clause. In terms of selling, I'm not so sure if many of the other big clubs (apart from barca apparently) will offer a good price right now
