The best way to move up the table is taking points off of the leader, not to mention beating the Scum is alway a good idea.

JPA has a new message for BWP, get it done.

    JPA to BWP

We need to beat the scum this week, and then again in September. Hoping to see intensity from start to finish, and not just when the team suddenly realizes the game started 30 minutes previously.

I don't care if it's an away game. Anything but 3 points is unacceptable. It's not a long trip down there and there was squad rotation for yesterday's game. So no excuses about being tired.

We need the points and have a chance to muck up the scum's season.

    3 points.

Really excited for this game, if the team can't get pump to play DC Scum, then we are hopeless. Have to put DC on a losing streak

If RBNY win this game, they will shake the monkey of they backs, that is the revolution just waiting for a loose to jump over ahead of them....

First time in awhile that we've had our strongest XI available

Sekagya has been very shaky so far. I can't fathom how a veteran can have so many mental lapses some times.

Sam looks like he's hating life playing in this 90-90 kind of American summer weather.

I hate games like this, they are generating some serious scoring chances, but Hamid is standing on his head to keep balls out of the net and he's getting help from the post and defenders.

Sekagya's been so bad since taking back over for Miazga. He starts the game by making a poor step up that sends Espindola through on goal, then barely 10 minutes later makes the SAME EXACT MISTAKE....

and its one thing when Miazga makes mistake because he is young and learning. But a 33 year old CB can't make the same mistakes a 19 year old makes. Where is Damien?

And at the end of the day, NY will rue those missed opportunities. Better finishing and they'd be defending a lead rather playing catch up.

Well Sekagya has finally succeeded in handing DC a goal. Perinelle ready to start yet?

I think there's one thing about which we can be glad, Eddie Johnson does not play on the Red Bulls. What terrible player.

He never has been a big star or been doted with special tools, he has been a good regular player I his youngers days, but at 34 he is too freaking old to play soccer any more, simple as that.....

Guess it's time to give Perrinelle a shot next to Olave.

    My player ratings would be
    Robles-5
    Duvall-7.5
    Olave-6
    Sekagya-0
    Miller-6
    Sam- 7.5
    Cahill-5.5
    Dax- 6.3
    Oyongo- 5
    Henry-8
    BWP-6

    Sene-4
    Alexander-5

    To me Henry was a 2, Cahill a 2, Sam and Dax a 3, BWP a 3

Have to say Metz,in the heat and humidity we do look old and Petke refuses to sub out certain guys literally waking the last 30 mins or so. Maybe we are too old.

Henry was brilliant in the first half, we should have had 2-3 goals with the passes he was making. Sam was the only other threatening player we had, he was owning DC's left back

We should have had 3-4 goals at halftime, unfortunately DC should have too. I know everyone is riled up at Petke after this one, but one thing out of his control is that he has no defensive options at his disposal whatsoever. Duvall is average, Olave is clearly on the downswing, every other CB is a disaster waiting to happen... When Roy Miller is your most reliable defender, that's a roster issue and not a coaching issue.

Petke may not have the team playing very attractive attacking soccer, and he DEFINITELY waits too long to sub, but this team was never ever going to be a serious contender with this defensive lineup.

We look like a bunch of a$$ clowns trying to defend out there.

Seriously. Like a U-12 team. Ball bouncing over our heads, stupid back passes, standing around letting guys run right past us, and then kicking the ball a country mile up the field under zero pressure.

    Disgraceful.

I'm not gonna watch this team for a while. Someone PM me when they post a shutout that doesn't involve Robles standing on his head.
