Looks like they have a good mix of vets and rookies.

We do. He didn't get on the field in Brazil for some reason.

No we don't. Thomas Rosicky is a different player than Mix. I wish they were the same, but alas, young Rosicky is a generational talent.

The most likely explanation: not enough accent marks in his name. :D

This is probably one of our weakest teams in over a decade to be honest. Vydra is a championship striker and there are not many better options because of injuries at the moment.

At least they called up Krejci.

Any relation between the guy called up and the one that plays for the Bruins?

I got a weird feeling he's gunna call up some Germericans that are uncapped... hopefully Parker bros., and the return of Alfredo Morales

For the Parker bros. to be called we would need first to hear them file their switch papers, Shawn for sure, not sure if his brother actually played for Germany at the tournament level. I think Morales should be there. I want to see Wooten get a call.

Very true. When this match was first announced, I had a feeling that Klinsmann would bring Zelalem and/or Shawn Parker to train with the squad, like he has with other German Americans would were undecided in the past.

I'm thinking it would have already leaked by now though.

Read from either Goff or Wahl that the roster is coming "later this week." Aka, when players are flying apparently.

Nope. Mix is who I was referring to. Obviously not at Rosicky in his prime level, but the skill sets are comparable.

DeVante Parker called up yesterday to the German U19s..............................
[Folks will note with interest that Zelalem isn't in that squad yet again.]

    Shawn Parker? Maybe.

Rosicky was/is a much better dribbler and more of an attacking mid. I dont think they are that similar

Uh, no. Or at least not until further notice. Donovan is actually very similar to Rosicky in style, if a level or three (now) below.

I'm sure he's calculated the risk involved with that.
