    Sincerely, Thank You.
My humble apologies for all the error-fixing needed, but as there was no thread focusing discussion specifically about this topic, it was my sole reason for starting one. Namely who will win it, and our team's chances vis a vis upcoming results given everyone's schedule.
I didn't mean to tip anyone's superstition cart, but if there is a trend, how else do you suppose to break it, other than with a bungling idiot's naive efforts?

I'd be elated too with a 9 game losing streak and sneaking in somehow as the 5th seed ...

In exact Math Terms, the current Record Holders are Seattle Sounders (Made Playoffs despite Winless in Last 7): :p

"New Records set in MLS 2013 Regular Season":
    ...
    10. Seattle were Winless in Final 7 games, but still made the playoffs.
    - Previous Record: RSL winless in final 6 of 2011.
    ...
    12. Seattle's record collapse as SS Leaders 5 rounds before the end (6th/19 overall & 4th/9 in conference).
    - Previous Record: S.J. of 2002, at least 2nd/10 overall and 2nd/5 in conference.

Let's wait until Game #27 ~ #29, the beginning of Seattle's record collapse as the SS Leaders in 2013: ;)

Please, I'm not taking that on. Win on Sunday and we're still a point within reach of the Shield, nothing changes.

Now if we lose to RB, I'll get all masochistic up in this mug.

Okay, how about this. United will tie every match they have left this year. If and when that doesn't happen, what does it mean? It gets a little convoluted because superstition is COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS.

You're trolling me, Bootsy, during an ass whooping, not cool.

Yeah, but this thread isn't about the Eastern Conf. To do us a solid here, someone needs to beat Seattle, LA and RSL -- especially since we've demonstrated that we're completely incapable of doing it.

This thread was the closest thing I found to post about it. East is far more relevant and likely than the SS even if it isn't a trophy. It still brings a CCL spot and home field in the playoffs.

You get one for winning the East or West. Whoever doesn't get the Supporter's Shield. I think it was new last year.
