If rumors about poldi are true I am expecting big things from wenger before end of window Better be big
Gunning4Chelsea said: "If rumors about poldi are true I am expecting big things from wenger before end of window Better be big" Or what exactly? If its not "big", exactly what are you going to do? Oh I know - whine like a spoiled entitled child - like a good many of the posters do on this board on a daily basis.
i think registration for the premier league has a similar "homegrown" rule with some minor differences.
Yeah because thats what I was implying. You've got some strong comprehending problems And maybe he wouldn't concede a total of 20 goals in 4 games (6-3, 5-1, 6-0, 3-0)
Midget Ball personified-based on opening day, Arsenal are the lightest, smallest and shortest team in the PL --average of 5'9" and 154 pounds. Compare Chelsea at 6"1 and 172 lbs. Couple that with a distinct lack of pace and lack of dribblers --Ramsey and Sanchez being the only exceptions. Santi "Turnover Machine" Cazorla ain't beating anyone off the dribble and certainly not beating anyone for pace. To his credit, Decuchy seems to be a step up from Sagna in his ability to take on players. But I feel this team is very much lacking in balance-how can we specialize in players that are both small AND slow? We basically have zero counterattack. Theo, Ox and Joel are much better compliments to Sanchez than the lumbering, slow footed French "domestique". The next time he out sprints someone for a through ball will be the first.
Dude, seriously, not trying to be overly PC, but these terms " midget", " domestique" have no place into this board. I am sure you can find a more appropriate choice of words.
Not a spoiled child.... Relax....I am not one of those who screamed for wenger's head last august... Not once If poldi goes according to reports interest from galatasaray per bild, which is gossip paper but more reliable than the likes of goal and metro.... We would have lost two decent squad players in TV and poldi... Chambers appears to be a talent but jury is still out on him whether he will be upgrade over TV If poldi goes, our net spending would be relatively Low considering our resources At end of the day, by big signing I mean " bender" or khedira to arrive Everyone needs to take a chill pill
I can't believe some of the garbage I'm reading this morning in the "media". Arteta goes down for 2 weeks, and now we have a "midfielder" shortage??? Please. You can debate all you want about the "quality" of our midfield, but shortage? In Wenger's mind, he has 10 capable midfielders: Ozil, Ramsey, Wilshere, Arteta, Rosicky, Flamini, Cazorla, Diaby, Ox, and Chambers. He might even throw Zelalem's name into that group.
Are there any strikers we might reasonably be able to snag before the deadline or should I give up on that?
They think a lot of interest in Rabiot is going to drive up the price and help them raise funds for Di Maria. Unfortunately, the interest is coming from three of the most stingy clubs around (Juventus, Milan and ourselves). Strikers better than Giroud, that won't cost a king's ransom? There aren't any available (unless you were willing to take the risk on Balotelli, but that ship has sailed).
Calm da fcuk down man. I didn't say you implied that and in truth it wasn't necessarily directed at you. It was directed at those that think winning against the big clubs is the most important thing. You can win the league losing/drawing all those games, or you can be a cnuts hair from relegation taking 10 points off the top 3. Apologize if it came across as inferring you felt that way.
I'd never rely on the Daily Star, so I'll ignore the 450%+ price hike--but this Rabiot did have all the hallmarks of a Wenger signing (young, fills a need, French, cheap). Since the deal is still nothing more than reports, I'd say there was probably some sort of roadblock thrown up by PSG. . . . Sailed to Liverpool
