nowhere near match fitness unfortunately, I think it's between him and Ayoze Perez to stake a claim for the striking spot behind Cisse/Riviere and Ayoze looked good when he came on, almost scoring.

Hopefully Ferreyra can take his chance when it comes along. We've been tracking Ferryera for a couple of years from what I remember.

Cheers Robledo. Hopefully he can get up to speed quickly. Should be interesting to see how he gets on. A potential player for the seleccion.

Tiago Casasola joins Fulham. Fulham relegated from the PL are struggling this season next to bottom in the Championship.

    http://www1.skysports.com/transfer/...ham-sign-boca-juniors-defender-tiago-casasola

It is going to be a big leap for Tiago. Culture, language and the pace of the division and it's physicality which even an experienced international like Paredes from Ecuador has found difficult to adapt to.

One thing is certain he will get games under Magath. Fulham also have a couple of probably the best young players in England in Patrick Roberts and Cauley Woodrow but it is a very young team overall. A real chance for Tiago to make a name for himself. Personally I feel as if he has left Boca far too early. A couple of seasons in the Primera would have helped.

Typical BS reporting from the least reputable newsource in the western world; the Daily Mail.

If SAF had difficulties with the likes of Veron, Heinze or Tevez, is more to do with those players. The article here is pure b*LLs#it reporting. A very laughable sentence in the article is the following

"The first Argentines in the Premier League arrived around 1998, with Horacio Carbonari at Derby and Mauricio Taricco at Tottenham"

. . . anyone ever hear of a guy named Osvaldo Ardiles?

Sabella too, playing in Sheffield in the 70s and then in Leeds..

However, I think what the article was referring to was Argentines playing in the modern Premier League, which was created in 1992 after breaking away from the original "Football League". In that case it is correct that the first Argentines arrived in the late 90s.

Jose Leonardo Ulloa scored another match winning goal against Stoke yesterday.....it`s fair to say he`s impressed and stepped up to the Premier League plate well indeed.

True, it was referring to the Premier League, not the old 1st division as you said.

Taricco arrived in the mid 90`s ....1994 to be exact and I`m pretty sure was the 1st Argentine of the "Premier League" era.

Very stupid article - typical clickbait from the mail.

Veron and Fergie have a very good relationship; in fact Rojo even mentioned that Veron recommended him to move to United.

Heinze was liked until he tried to move to Liverpool after Evra took his spot.

Remember Gerardo Bruna ? Now plying his trade in the fourth tier of English football......

Tiago Casasola has yet to play one minute of football for Fulham. Another idiotic move for a youngster.

I saw an article stating el fideo as one of the worst premier signings ever. How can someone who I think is awesome considered to be crap. Is the premiership that different so as certain "styles" just don't work there? I mean come on. Fideo is a monster.

No offense, but its not a bout who you think is awesome its about how he played and all he did was score a few goals at the start against teams fighting to not descend, and in the end United ended up playing their best football when he was on the bench. Same goes with Falcao. He was crap. Both were it doesn't mean they're not good/great players, it just means the club paid huge money for them and they played like shit, its not that hard to understand

Well hey, I just thought a great player like that would have had a positive impact and not be poo-poo ya know. I was just trying to make sense of it. I mean it is kind of odd. No one was expecting it to be THAT awful ya know. I mean really man.

In terms of statistics he actually had a decent season. The sum of money paid means expectations mean that he is expected to perform in every game ie a goal and two assists. He had niggling injuries, unsettled at home and van Gaal has no idea how to use him properly whereas at Real he had license to roam.

We have made a bid of around £7M for Diego Perotti which has been accepted by Genoa. Still haggling over the contract though.

The English media is all clickbait. He had a very high assist rate in the league last season as well.

Manuel Lanzini scored in the EL against Astra. However West Ham were knocked out.

    Lanzini was impressive though.
