I saw the team train last friday and Iker's demeanor was nonchalant and it showed in his performance the next day. It might be a confidence thing or exhaustion but he wasn't training well that day. It is understandable that a player loses motivation especially after achieving all their is to achieve in the sport, but who knows whats going on with Casillas.

I don't know man, for me Navas might just be the difference maker, how many times did we go down a goal last season and have to fight our way back to level and then will our way on to a victory? Similarly how many times did goal keepers have incredible games against us stopping everything and then we conceded a weak goal and then struggle for a tie? I don't have any stats but I do remember thinking a few times last season that in the air, final third and nil - nil was a recipe for us going down a goal... That isn't to say Kroos won't be important, its just that for me the GK situation should be better than it has been.
^ This . And barely ever did such a scenario pan out for us where the gk won us a match , if Navas can produce a couple of performances like he did against Barcelona , pretty sure it would win us a few points which can prove to be decisive .
True - that's kinda an unknown, playing here is different... Add the fact that its Iker into the equation and its doubly so... any evaluation of Diego's time here has to include this.
