I don't know if you to worry about that. Miami is demonstrating that they don't care if another team comes to the city. I know that Becks gets to pick the city. Miami had a team before .maybe they just don't want a te.
Sounds like SEC football. Y'all can fun of it all day long. However, it is the closet thing in the USA to the fan base of soccer in other countries. I would think MLS would try to get college football fans to convert to soccer as their number 2 sport. But, they don't try.
You mean minor league NFL? That's why its as popular as it is in this country. A majority of CFB fans never attended the schools they are a fan of.
Personally I thought turning millions of SEC fans into MLS fans would be a challenge. But after hearing your detailed plan, I am going to have to agree with you. I'm shocked MLS hasn't thought about 'doing stuff' before. It simple, direct, and effective. God, what are they thinking!
They also have second, third, fourth and fifth generation fans as well. MLS is about 60-80 years from being able to potentially saying the same
SEC attendance in 2013 - 75,674. But don't worry. The deep sports culture and community relevance that makes this league so important to people can easily be translated into expansion MLS teams if we only 'do stuff'.
The SEC attendance numbers will go up. LSU and Texas A&M are expanding their stadia to over 100,000 each. The SEC is doing stuff. Now it's MLS's turn to do stuff.
SEC started doing their 'stuff' in 1933. Give MLS some time. Maybe someday they'll start doing stuff too.
Once again, if you have no desire to post regarding the Miami MLS Stadium, don't post here. Further posts that are off-topic will be simply deleted. I recommend if you want to, hmmm. pontificate about something mildly resembling news regarding Miami MLS expansion or just ramble on about your own personal thoughts on the matter, start a new thread. Thank you.

Ok, this post isn't specifically related to Miami stadium push, but it highlights the point that Miami isn't the only possible MLS city having stadium issues. It's now being reported that Orlando City have caved to the church opposition and have decided on a site west of their original site choice. * Orlando City SC Stadium Site Changes As Government Drops Lawsuit: Orlando City Soccer Club will build its stadium one block west of the initially planned location, club president Phil Rawlins and Orlando mayor Buddy Dyer announced Monday. The city of Orlando had reportedly begun the process of filing for eminent domain after failing to reach an agreement to buy land for the original site from Faith Deliverance Temple. http://www.si.com/planet-futbol/2014/08/04/orlando-city-sc-mls-stadium-lawsuit Note: These stadium deals aren't easy, it's difficult stuff putting these types of transactions together. As it relates to Miami and David Beckham, we all just need to take a deep breath and practice a little patience...allow the process to play itself out! *For all of those who post here and believe this process thus far is "Miami being Miami again" or maybe Beckham should consider another city like Vegas or LA2...you're haters and go kick rocks!
I checked online said single tickets go on salad fall when schedule comes out I say we gather a bunch of us sho Orlando whatsup
